Match 1: All players will randomly play a random opponent each set of 5 maps. At the end of Batch 27, the highest wins of 16 players move onto Round 2. Ties will be dealt with by total # of Rounds in Batch 27; ie, whoever won their last 5 games quickest will move on.

I fully agree. By joining a tournament you are stating that you will play all games, not just some. Refusal to join should mean that you forfeit all 5 games for that batch.

I am, however, making a new policy idea, which will be PM'd to everyone soon, maybe tomorrow. It has to do with winning all 5 games, and being able to choose your opponent. And, unless I receive a giant amount of opposition, it may happen.
Lets move on to the next batch, shall we?
