pie12345 is my multi. If you notice, when you re-arrange the first 4 characters of that username, and add in a couple of underscores, you get e_1_pi, which is almost exactly my name. The '2345' part was to throw you guys off the trail.

Undeclared account sitting is fine of course, because there is no rule about saying it. I forget quite often myself to announce it.

However, sitting for tactical advantage is against the rules, which would certainly include having a brother play because he was faster, or because the timing of the move was better, and not because he was going to miss. It is in fact that situation, that was the inspiration for the babysitting rules in the first place. High ranks do this all the time fitzy- eg: Player is in a game but doesn't know the map well so he runs the clock down on his turn and arranges a sitter who does know the map well to take his turn-i have seen this done on difficult maps like Bamboo, Forbidden city,Iraq and Waterloo where a high ranker with little or no previous experience on 1 of these maps has played a great turn..and im sure you would agree that nobody plays these maps well first time up.

huh? find what? where? huh? i just keep getting more and more confused with each of this guys posts... however, i still think he just spanked codeblue and shockingly codeblue accused him of being a multi. i mean, codeblue accusing a lower rank of being a multi after losing to them? really? who'd of thunk it?-0

I know of no one that lets someone take their turns, because they dont know the map. Ive only seen turns taken because someone was going to miss their turn.

But in this case, are you saying that someone did in fact take pies turns because they were better, because if so, that is explicitly cheating, and you just condemned him right there. It was this exact situation that got the rule made in the first place. The fact that you suspect others do it, is hardly important. Many create multis, but that doesnt excuse any multis either.

If pie was going to miss a turn, then a brother can take over, but that doesnt seem to be the case here. Certainly pie is not saying that was the case. Obviously, a brother took over to help him out, not to cover because he would miss, and essentially became a multi account right there. Its babysitting abuse to a "T". This was not a good defense for him. Saying he was going away, or couldnt get to a computer would have been much better.

If you have examples of high rankers similarly breaking the babysitting rules to gain tactical advantage, and not because they were going to miss a turn, Id say post them, but it wont help this situation too much, if in fact this is what happened in this case, which certainly seems to be the case.

Very good point again AFITZ, people have seemed to miss the undeclared babysitting/turn taking explicit cheating. We all know Codeblue is one of the biggest crybabies on site, and yes he is often a bully. He does however have a pretty good nose for multi's/irregular play. Whilst he accuses everyone that beats him of having great dice and only winning by luck(lets all remember he has been a brig FIVE TIMES!!!! ). He doesn't often accuse people in this forum, when he does he is right most of the time. Once again. Good catch Codeblue

I have played this guy, from what I can see he is probably at the right level of playing for a fast learner of 200 or so games.

He may have nearly beaten me on one occasion but he made alot of mistakes, something an experienced multi of say 3 or so accounts wouldn't make ;-)

Though the game chat is strange...

Law? LOL! First off you played this guy on his 35th game on rather a complicated map in mogul; Pies' first time on that map for that matter. A map that is also complicated for anyone, experienced or inexperienced. Your game chat as follows:

2009-05-07 15:49:35 - LFAW: gg
2009-05-07 15:51:58 - LFAW: duno why I started this lol
2009-05-07 15:52:03 - LFAW: ur gona win
2009-05-07 16:03:02 - LFAW: gg

Prolly a little better than a person with 35 games regardless of mistakes maybe eh?

I'm recalling this from a while back. This is definetely not a clear cut case though, as I said, he played well but you could play like that just from looking at any other mogul game.

Good luck on that; apparently KIng isn't going to IP check this at all. Posts after this one have been opened/closed with a particular verdict. Don't know what the hold-up is. Simple process to check IP's!

some take longer than others, and he probably starts at the bottom and works his way up....since this stays at the top....it will be done last...

Also, since he already said he plays on the same computer as his brothers.... the IP check is uneccessary. Its the same IP obviously.

What they have to figure out, is who was manning the player as he played, which...is rather diffcult...not to mention theoretically impossible... its a matter of deductive reasoning.

So, thats the hold up... and honestly, all of that is pretty obvious.

A warning has been sent to pie12345 with regards to account sitting.

I can agree that pie12345, darkangelsguy205 and 40kguy may be related to one another and if somebody suspects, darkangelsguy205 and 40kguy are not multi accounts with one another.

Granted that they share the same ISP, in this case, it is not easy to confirm that if one of the brothers or the actual owner of the account played for his own account when he won a game. The hunch that he allegedly "played fudeal way too well for a freemium corporal, clicky maps etc." well, he could have or could have not. Even though he defended himself by stating that he already played a number of games, still, a warning is due to pie12345 not to let anyone use his account just to defeat an opponent.

Why exactly did you come to a 9-month-old thread to post this instead of opening a new C&A thread?
