I think max 3 in Courtyard.

You could do 2 in Courtyard, one next to Erica, one next to Joe. You could be really cruel and put one in the vault. YOu know. the poor shmuck who was checking his safe deposit box when the thugs rolled in. Lots of stashes nearby, but all those minuses if he wants to get the loot.

Otherwise, I think 3 in Courtyard, one next to Joe. Or 2 in Courtyard, one by Joe, one by Perry.

ok, so i think i should point out now that Tlane and Erica are now the only two good chokepoints that aren't either way off to the side or a cop. I have no idea whether or not you should do anything at all about this, i just think that there has to be some good strategy revolving around this fact.

For those of you who havent noticed, i am starting a tournament called Doodle in a Doodle

because it requires a lot of TO involvement im going to put this map ON PAUSE*** until it gains enough momentum for me to handle it with enough ease that i can also work on this

*** On pause means i am by NO MEANS abandoning it, nor in anyway suggesting that it wont be finished. I will finish this map!

Indeed, Captain Peacock and Private Avi really stand out. I think it may just be the colour of the text.

This should have been put on vacation a little while ago...

ITS BACK
edits made:
  • Added more access to Tlane so its still a choke hold but it has more borders
  • renamed Erica as Corinne and made her a thug so its takes more to hold it
  • made Joe and Charlie into people so there are more starting positions
  • note that with Corinne as a Thug the net change is one more starting position
  • the messy text has been fixed, if you see any that i messed please let me know

so there are two different categories to look at now; graphics, and gameplay. for the former i think the icons need a slight blur to look less pixelated, but beyond that i dont see much. for the latter i think we need another starting position or two, what does everyone else think?

Edited the Main Post with the Following:

Map Specifics & Analysis:
Number of Territories: 56
Number of Money Carts: 6
Number of Alarms: 11
Note We have 2 more Thugs then Alarms
Number of Thugs: 13
Number of Non-Bonusable People: 22

Drop # on Start: Alarms + Thugs +Non-Bonusable People = 11 + 13 + 22 = 46
Note this number isn't divisable by 8 so we should remove two thugs and add them to the drop # on start to make it even.

Neutral Start Points:
1. Vault Door = 4 Neutral Armies
2. "Back Door" = 4 Neutral Armies
3. Get A Way Car = 4 Neutral Armies
4. Stash 1-6 = 2 Neutral Armies

Note that this is fair on drop so that no one has an advantage on owning a stash or the getaway car or any part of the objective, they have to work at the objective.

In regards to the graphics I have the following to comment on:
1. Inspector Kelsey = To Faint, lighten this up.
2. Major Major Major Major = The Circle is is connected with the alarm, move up a few pixles.
3. Vault Door = Could use a circle, so it's balanced like the Back Door.

4. Jack the Hat = Make a non-bonus
5. Adith the Nut = Make a non-bonus

6. Right Sticky Note = "get it to Mad Dog" the d on Mad is cut off, consider revising positioning.

7. One Way's = Smoots, Big Tuna & One Ear to Mad Dog perhaps make a subtle path that's very opaque with windows on the right of those rooms?

8. Should we not add other ways to gain bonuses in the map? Hold the 4 corner office people for 4?

idk i thought this would make the map too complex, i wanted to keep it simple even though i see your point, right now its much too hard to get any bonuses. what if instead of +1 per 3 places, its +1 per 2?


ok so to keep Lzrman from having to constantly update the image file im going ot follow some advice he gave me not too long ago and post 2 images, a constantly changing image under the same URL and one on a completely new URL so we can keep the old

My math was bad to gain 2 to make it 48 droppable spots we need to create 2 more circles to hold. That are not thugs or alarms.

Was thinking putting one below "Chester" and have it connect to:
Chester, Michael, Andrei, Andrew and The Monk

Was thinking of naming it "Joy"

The second one will be placed Above "Karan" at where the lines T and be connected to Karan and Inspector Kelsey and Mo

Was thinking naming it "Robert"

Other then that It looks good so far, I'll continue to look at it to see if we need changes.
