Well..

What we have learned from apb23 vs. juventino from 2009. (soon to be wellknow as roe vs. wade from 1973) is that the Livechat, PM's, walls, forums or everything outside the game itself is not valid in rating aspects.

Altough one might question the validity of the decision since it has yet to be tried by the court of appeal.

This hunter (king achilles) happens to be a site administrator and has a big say in whether or not you will continue to have the privilege of giving out ratings. So, if he gives you a recommendation, I suggest you follow it.

Also, what people may tend to forget, is that the ratings after a while covers more than one specific game. When you played people a couple of time, it's the overall experience that counts, not any individual game.

I think so too. But the mod who both warned me and gave me the second answer stats that:

People give ratings based from the game played, not from an interaction in the forum or in Live chat.

Second. It was from the same mod/hunter that game me the warning although it says:

If you would like to appeal the decision of the hunter... the case will be looked into by a second hunter.

I don't think Achilles message/statement should be read literally. Cf. the two highlighted parts in the quotes above.
- Of course one shouldn't rate players due to off-game actions in the forums etc.
- But if an action outside the actual game and game chat has a direct bearing on the game, that's a different matter. Otherwise one of the consequences would be that you could rate a person's attitude based on the fact that he cursed at you once in the game chat, but not for writing you a hundred spam messages on your wall during the game telling you what a dick you are.

Well i for one am getting confused...

Perhaps the safe way for people to handle this, until the appeal happens, is to mention any nastygrams in the game chat...

The point being, using game chat you could mention that there was a stinky PM without actually sharing the details. Perhaps this will satisfy the court that currently appears to say you cannot rate based on PM's, even if it is directly related to the game. :-s

On a somewhat related note...

I suppose one day i will receive a warning, too...
you see, I have yet to give out a single 5.0 rating to anybody.

Did you send in an eticket? If you did, have you gotten a response yet? If you did not get a response, try sending an email with the eticket number to general@conquerclub.com and ask what the status is.

If you have gotten a response, that is your appeal, there really isn't anything more you can do.

If you haven't sent in an eticket, that is your only way to appeal, and you should send one in sooner, rather than later. Although, in this case, I am not sure there is going to be much to overturn.

I did send in an e-ticket. And i did get an answer. The only problem was that it was from the same moderator. You know who.

I have some problems with this. I think he has ruined the chance for a proper test in my case. He gave his first answer/verdict without hearing both parties. He overruled the appeal with his arguments from the first ruling.

He has secondly, made the chance for a proper appeal impossible.
