Seems like way too many people for the map.
Well i guess that part of winning on CC is luck of the roll . It's the one element that can't be mastered but most everyone believes that this plays its part. not just luck of your rolls, but the good luck to the one who got the elimination. I admit, it's hard to get ahold of much leverage in that map with 8 players (but there are also 9 homelands) ...it's just the element of luck. Not much you can do to work on it

Okay, but luck was pretty much on my side. Like I said, I barely lost any armies in battles (if any). So the conclusion is, if you go towards the end of the turn order, and someone wants to go for you first, you have no chance? That doesn't make any sense.
