Posting maps to the Map foundry

Postby Kaapo on Sun May 17, 2009 5:44 pm

I was wondering how I could post maps to the foundry... it seems I have to do it with an URL but cant I just upload it straight from my files? If not, then through what should I post it?

not sure if this is the right place for this... maybe try to find the info in the foundry, there is nothing BUT info in that place, it is truly fascinating. or maybe you could pm one of the cartographers... good luck!!!-0

there is a map making Q&A subforum in the foundry, and there is also an entire section of the boards called Q&A, too... just be patient and look around a bit more... good luck...-0

p.s.-start looking around in the MAP FOUNDRY, all your answers can be found there.

You'll need to create a photobucket account, upload your file into it and then place the [IMG] script in your thread.
And Owen's right, there's a ton of info in the foundry that can get you started.
People tend to get a little upset if you post your map questions in GD. (right Owen? )

no, not really since the coup by the map foundry to have a newsletter placed here to force feed the foundry and other forums down the throats of the GD regulars... i wonder how that's going... glad the op got it all figured out... now i have to venture to the foundry to see what all the hub bub over his map was!!!-0

Moved to the Map Foundry (Not Maps subforum) for you. I'll leave it up to MrBenn to leave it or move it back to the Q&A forum.
