Civil War threatens to break-out in Australia with a number of rebel groups gaining support and illegal weaponry. A number of foreign powers are monitoring the situation with a view to making an invasion and seizing control amongst any chaos that may occur.
This tournament is a nationality-based terminator tournament and is open to all players with a decent attendance record. Premium is not required, although freemiums be aware that there will be two simultaneous games in round 1 and the finals.
The tournament will feature 8 Australian players and 24 prospective invaders.
When you sign-up, please indicate your nationality and which group you wish to enter in Phase One (Sydney, Cairns, Europe or North America).
Details: Phase One: Australian Players ā Establishing a Base Two groups of four Australian players will do battle for control of either Sydney or Cairns. After 2 battles, the 2 players gaining supremacy will progress (players with most terminations). If players have equal numbers of terminations then finishing positions in the 2 matches will be compared. If players are still equal then a one-match play-off will occur.
Invading Players ā Establishing Homeland Control Three groups of four North American players will do battle for control of their continent. After 2 battles, the 2 players gaining supremacy will progress (players with most terminations). If players have equal numbers of terminations then finishing positions in the 2 matches will be compared. If players are still equal then a one-match play-off will occur.
Similarly, three groups of four European players will do battle for control of their continent. After 2 battles, the 2 players gaining supremacy will progress (players with most terminations). If players have equal numbers of terminations then finishing positions in the 2 matches will be compared. If players are still equal then a one-match play-off will occur.
Infiltration Phase: One group of four Australian players undertake to gain control of Australiaās rail network. This will be 1 match, with the players with most terminations progressing. If players have equal numbers of terminations then finishing positions will be compared.
Similarly, three groups of four Invading players undertake to gain control of Australiaās rail network. This will be 1 match, with the players with most terminations progressing. If players have equal numbers of terminations then finishing positions will be compared.
Take-Over Phase: Two groups of four players will undertake to gain control of Australia. This will be 1 match, with the 2 players with most terminations progressing. If players have equal numbers of terminations then finishing positions will be compared.
Empire Building Phase (Finals): To consolidate power and establish enough control to become self-appointed King of Australia, four players will undertake to gain control of Oceania. This will be 2 matches as, once control is established, many of the Worldās Super-Powers will inevitably object to the forming of your new empire and send in their naval troops. If players have equal numbers of terminations then a play-off will take-play (with escalating spoils).
