Postby earthen on Sat Mar 28, 2009 10:13 pm

Accused:

RMelosi
dinso

The accused are suspected of:

Possibly being
Being Multis or
Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 4526370
Game 4526129
Game 4526819

Comments: I'm playing them in game 4526370 on world 2.1 map they are in far east and Oceania both have built up and have never attacked each other except to gain there respective continents. yet they both attack me at the same time while I am quite far away from them! that in it self to me was a little strange so i checked it out and they are in 2 other games in witch they seem to be doing the same thing. are back to back yet do not attack each other! It just seems strange and a little off

considering their IP shows 2 diffent country gflag, US vs UK and they are not online together within a resonable timeframe, which swould be helpfull in freestyle.. Well its easy to think they are not multi's.

As to the secret alliance charge..

They have so far only played 3 games together. The same 3 you showed. Those 3 games have not yet finished. They have yet to play and finish a game together.

I assume it is possible that these two are friends whom have met eachother outside of the game and made up their mind to play havoc here, but in all fairness I think its just 2 players playing a game and having nothing more to do with each other then with you.

as to tactic, their tactic is valid.

Could you please provide more insight in why you think they have done something wrong. I fail to see it yet.

regards

well what concerns me is if you look at all there attacks in all there games they stay back to back with out attacking each other while they both concentrate on one victim. it just seems that they are playing as a team in singles games. witch isn't fair.
but I'm not sure that's why I'm asking you guys I'll except you decision

earthen, you have filled out the post, so you have a right to a reply.
I am not a multi hunter though, not even close. I am just asking you to help to them to get to a quick and complete case.

So these 2 players have obviously not bmet before thay played thig game, but both have lpayed games before. This leads me to think that they may have a simular strategy. Concentrating on one person makes the game easy, there is no need for that to be the result of a secret alliance. Unless there is a reason e.g. they were always teammates and wont attack eachother unless its the end of the game. That is a reason to cheat. In what you have shown me, I can only conclude they each do their own thing, and there is nothing for me to see a dotted line connecting these 2 peoples.

Secret alliances are hard to prove. Being a multi is much simpler. So assuming they are not IP hoppnig multi's, yuo suggest they might be having an alliance. In all fairness to them, I see no secret alliance. However I take your charge seriously. So seeing what I have writing before, can yuo give me any clue as to what is it that made you think it might be a secret alliance? It would be nice if you could point out a pm your recieved or other clues that they might be working together other then them concentrating on one opponant(for each) at a time.

It was just my suspicion from the way that they were playing the game they were in with me mainly! from my perspective if i had put my self in eater of there places I would have did differently, and to me it seemed a little odd that they both came (witched seemed to me) a long way across the map to get to me. while i made no aggressive moves toward them.

All I really wanted was for someone else to looks at the game other than me cause since I'm in the game I am only seeing it from my point of view! and I wanted someone from the outside to look at it from a fresh point of view!

I'll take you explanation of it!

thanks for your time
I hope it wasn't wasted.

RMelosi and dinso are not multis with each other. As for a possible secret diplomacy, checking the game you are in right now, I can see that green is protecting his bonus and has also broken teal's bonus in Europe and North America. This is pretty much just a game strategy. I see no suspicious turns in the other two games. Cleared.
