tedspur, aglenist [cleared]

Postby bamage on Fri Mar 20, 2009 2:47 pm

Accused:

tedspur
aglenist

The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis
Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 4418914

Comments:

It's early in the game, but the play smells. Players are building stacks instead of holding borders in moves that look intended to beat one team rather than win the game. All of these players have played A LOT of doubles games in the very recent past and if you look at the notes in those games, some of them are being accused of odd moves that give the game away. Tedspur and Aglenist have 28 games as opponents in the last couple of weeks - most of them doubles and with rotating partners. It doesn't pass the sniff test. Please investigate.

As an added example, look at Aglenist's play in Game 4143163. It had everyone scratching their heads.

Thanks,

Bamage

maybe I'm missing something because I'm not in the game but it doesn't seem to be too fishy in here

Then how is anyone supposed to see what you're saying if all you say is "it's fishy" and "it's getting fishier"? It would help if you provided some actual info about what you find fishy and why you find it fishy....building up borders isn't a crime.

I'm not interested in your opinion (no offense) or anyone's opinion. I'm assuming that King Achilles or someone else with extraordinary privileges has the ability to see source IP addresses, player positions in the fog, etc. Are you one of those people? If not (and I don't mean to sound confrontational) why are you weighing on this?

because its a PUBLIC forum....people in here come and check out what other people have to say..give opinions and other evidence, and then this in turn helps the hunters get their jobs done. As for being able to see the game...I have never heard of anyone who can see the game its a mod or lack himself. Also....mods don't reveal how they check for multis so there are very few people who actually know.

Cool, thanks! Understood. If you don't mind, let's wait for a mod to weigh in on this before the thread gets any more cluttered. Thanks again for your thoughts.

For game 4143163 it was only grey that didn't approve of what aglenist did. They were attacking each other in that game. Based from what is said in this report, what we have here are suspicions. Building stacks instead of holding borders, is one's opinion. One of the suspects is already eliminated. They have played 28 games as opponents, which is something that is not to be questionable of and there are no patterns to follow. Let's try not to jump into anything yet and just play the game.

lol tedspur just killed 3 of his own partner's territories on one turn. i'm sure it's all part of a master plan.
