We are invite only, so advertising is NOT a valid statement. This is an invitation to these mapmakers no one else.

Clicked on this map because of the name.

Being older and with weak eyes, I vote to keep the graphics. They look good.

I won't comment on game play because I cannot really judge until I play it. When I do, I will comment if I see an issue.

Best wishes.. hope to see it soon!

There's a lot of work to do on xml (coordinates), but i have the Final Forge to work on it. :)

this is looking very nice... since the latest update just went up an hour ago let's give folks a chance to take a look to make sure concerns have been addressed, then I think it'll be forge-ready. :)

If you want the shark to swim up side down, that's cool. Just trying to be helpful. :?
By the way, the routes look much, much better. :D

i think that you missed the right prospective of the shark.. here is the shark in some positions and on the right the original image in the 2 principal positions.

Image

i tried to use the 3rd and in my opinion it seems better, expecially with the australian gulf, but the optical illusion that seems it on the right position and not upside down, make it more similar to a dolphin or a killer whale, so we've decided that it's better to keep it in the other position and maintain the original prospective.

i found the image, i worked on it, i put it on the map and tried several positions. do you really think that is possible that you understand better than me the right side of the shark and i'm so stupid to keep it upside down without your help?
so, please, stop talking like you are the only one with a brain and the only one that have the right truth of all things. and please, stop with that annoying sarcasm, expecially because you're not always in right. let us keep on our work and go somewhere else if you want to create flames. thanx.

You are a fool. I was not being sarcastic. Get rid of the chip on your shoulder dumb ass. I will no longer offer you any more of my help.

By the way, if you are going to use a picture in silhouette, make it a side on shot. Genius.

Alright people, move along, nothing to see here. Keep the flaming to Flame Wars and let's get back to making maps.

As for the shark - I think there is an easy fix. The trouble is that the lower fin looks is so large that it looks like the dorsal fin, making the entire shark look too big. Solution: make that fin smaller.

Image

Anyway, the shark is a minor detail that you can get right in the Forge.

              Final Forge

---The Oceania Map has reached the ā€˜Final Forgeā€™ Stage. The map has passed rigorous gameplay and graphics examinations, and major concerns have been addressed. If you have any other concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. As long as there is still discussion or posts that have yet to be commented on, the map will remain in Final Forge until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

I think he tried to say you that the shark was upside-down in your example. (compared to your point of view)
Anyways pikkio let this flame go out of your mind... ;)
We have more important and usefull things to do now... :D
And i'm so bored to do the peacemaker about useless things

For all members:
No more flames in this thread, please.

Thank you all (foundry members and CA's) for the several appreciations, constructive critics and suggestions. =D>

I fixed the Wallis&Futuna lines.
Now lines are "Wallis& Futuna" and no more "Wallis and Futuna" (probably too long)

Only few coordinates to fix on big map and a ton on small version.

Yes you must provide images who will show how 3 digit numbers standing on map. These is some old rule in MAp production. If they look good then you are very close to get XML stamp.
