In game chat they openly admit that they are brothers and in at least 1 prior game with them in it they used the same computer (same IP address)

So most likely unless the mods see one account being accessed right after the other from the same IP address it will be a judgment call on them to make as to whether this is 2 separate users or 1 with 2 accounts.

My suggestions would be that earthen if you want to play games that are non teams games with your "brother" then set them up as private ones. Nowhere in the rules does it state that you cant play non teams games with people that you know in them, but you will get this sort of thing over and over again.
Setting up games as private and inviting people in them with them already knowing you two are related would/could help alleviate further allegations on you.

Suggestion for markleadon would be that if the mods come back with this and decide that at this time it could quite possibly be two accounts between brothers the most this will get is NOTED for next time. And standard blurb will apply, FOE and rate them accordingly as you so wish.

On a separate not though, a WARNING should most likely go out to sailorseal for trolling games that he is not in with however may be good intentions shows off as still a violation of posting with the attempt to cause chaos.

markleadon made a post about this situation in Q&A and my curiosity led me to take a look at the game in question which was in the 6th Round. While this game hasn't gone well for him, his situation certainly didn't look like the effects of any secret alliance or the coordinated attacks of a multi. Lockjawz is the other player who might have an opinion about all of this.

In the chat earthen says that Sir_Rob67 is his brother playing from the same IP on seperate computers. Looking at the Game Log the brothers aren't shy about attacking each other as Green assaults Blue in Round 1 and again in Round 4 when Blue has just gone from 4 to 6 territories... boredbob was no help deadbeating in that same round. If boredbob has the same IP as the brothers that might be suspect, but he only deployed once and only attacked earthen... so all in all this game really doesn't look that peculiar in it's gameplay.

Yes it's dumb for brothers to join a singles game playing from the same IP, because regardless of the outcome it will always look suspicious. I PMed earthen to point out that markleadon had created the thread in Q&A about the game and he PMed back that he'd "rather be kicking his brothers's ass in that game if he could"... but at that point Sir_Rob had the upper hand from what I'd seen and already eliminated all of earthen's holdings near him.

This game should definitely be NOTED so that this situation doesn't happen again... and possibly some instruction about what games the brothers can legitimately play without raising red flags. They should also be WARNED of the possible consequences a situation like this can have on their access to this site.

Trolling is the intentional attempt to cause chaos.
