Thought I'd try my hand at organizing a 1v1 tournament. I've played many 1v1 games and I still can't decide if they are mainly luck or skill. The law of averages will always point to skill but can this tournament help decide?
Format
this will be a single elimination bracket style tournament that will seed each player based on their pts once registration is closed.
Each bracket will play a best of 5 where each player will provide the settings for one game and the other three will be random maps but the settings will be SFCN, SEAN and SNUN (S= sequential, F = Flat, E = Escalating, N = No Spoils, C = Chained, A = Adjacent, U = Unlimited and N = No Fog)
The finals will be all fog
If you select freestyle as a setting you will need to join the game first, the risk of picking freestyle
We will play down to one winner and hopefully determine if 1v1 is luck or skill.
Registration
This tournament is open to all players, freemium player please reserve two slots for this tournament.
We will be taking 64 participants with four divisions, 16 participants per division.
