I'm not keen on the outline of the island. Can you thin them out a little?
By "island" do you mean the two (Cheju and Ullongdo), or just one of them? But yes, in any case, I see what you mean. It is the same brush size as the peninsula, but the size of the island(s) create an optical illusion that makes them seem bigger. I will work on that.
Also, do you have plans to make sea more 'sea-like'?
Probably. I most likely won't add a texture that pops out, as it contrasts the map's feel, but I'll experiment some.
It's good to see the versions getting better.

Hmm…well frankly I like the idea of killer neutrals as it is a bit of a compromise, but I will leave it up to the Foundry.
Also, I can't tell whether Kanggye borders Kangpye or not. You might want to extend that mountain range or move the borderline a bit.
Yes, the mountains are rudimentary. I'll go over them with a finecomb when I get back from a party I'm going to.
Also, your sea lines are still in need of an improvement.
I utterly despise them myself
MrBenn wrote:I love the font you've used for the title... not too sure how Korean it is, but I love it nonetheless! It's much better than the one you've used elsewhere, which I'm struggling to read.
Hmm, I'll make them all the title's font and see where that gets me. I just used that font because it fit the Korean/oriental brush stroke feel.
You're definitely moving in the right direction with this map now, although the borders are way too thick! It feels like there is a lot of unused space on the map itself too.
I'll reduce the size of the borders, seeing how multiple people think that. This refers to the overall, islands, and bonuses, am I correct?
It looks like you're going to struggle to fit army number into a lot of territories - it might be worth starting with the small version of the map so you don;t create problems for yourself with legibility/visibility issues later
Good idea, I'll work on that.
I like the idea of killer neutrals on the DMZ - they're not used on many maps right now, and might make the DMZ reflect real-life... as it stands, the -1 autodeploy doesn't quite feel right, as it would leave an easy-to-cross no-mans land rather than some kind of barrier.
My thoughts exactly
The mountains are going to need some work
Yep, those were just to symbolize the impassables borders in the meanwhile. I'll take more time on them
I wonder if it would be worth adding a route from Ullongdo island to Hyesan or something? (I'm not too sure what the territory names are as I can't read the font very clearly)
That's what I was thinking, ian thought otherwise. I'll see

sailorseal wrote:Could you make the ulango attachment clearer?
sailorseal wrote:Which territory does ullango attach to? Also make another place that connects north and south.
I don't think I will, excluding Ullongdo possibly being like an Isle of Man.
Also
1. Rework bonus scale
Well, how so?
2. Make another mountain range
Where, and why?
3. I like the texture
rjz115dude wrote:I like the map jake, but i think it would look better if the land to the north would have a more distinct border with the water. It's just soemthing to experiment with
Added a bit of drop shadow.

EXAMPLE: Grey needs to defend for territs, bonus 4
while dark green needs to defend four territs, bonus three
2. Make another mountain range

Between sepo and munchen because sepo can be attacked by 6 other territs
3. I like the texture
Alright. If you're going to give suggestions it would be so much better recieved if you didn't just command vague things.
