Apologies, I misread your post, where you said:
it wouldnt matter. you'd never have to deal with me, or any of my fellow sports freaks again.
I thought you said,
it wouldnt matter. you'll never be able to deal with me, or any of my fellow sports freaks.
odd that,
Anyway now that I see you had a more rational standpoint and I actually feel like responding:
No I don't feel like posting about stuff everyone loves, I'm not that egotistical that I want to hear my name repeated over and over.
j/k there's nothing everyone loves, that I can think of, except maybe CC, which is offlimits in this forum!
To detail my problem further, and show why the solution you recommended isn't a good one for me:
There are two problems:
1. the nature/frequency of the sports posts here which I'm arguing purely from a forum ethics standpoint, (which I've done repeatedly in this thread) that the sports posts are rude, spammish and excessive, and my desired solution would be to adress these points (no caps locks in titles, actually say something in your posts aside from what I detailed above, try to condense similar topics into existing threads)
2. Promoting the importance of sports, which I oppose on a deeper ethical level (but have not saught to argue on these grounds, as it's one of those endless arguments). Anyway if I'm the cause of bringing about a seperate sports forum, it'll be a cruelly ironic twist of fate, so I'm not gonna encourage it. I'd rather grin and bear the sports posts here if I think it'll decrease the overall importance placed on sports in the world, as I tend to think on a utilitarian (maximum overall good) as opposed to egoist (maximum personal good) scale.
