Another issue : Do you know, that 2 players can log on to 1 account in the same time?
I just proved it with account from kk-boy. He gave me his pw and we logged in the same time. I don't know, if we can play 1 game together, or he plays in 1 game and I play 1 other in the same time.

i do find it shocking and disgusting that someone could hack into someone else's account and interfere in their games.

This has actually happened to us recently too........some hacked into the BENJIKAT IS DEAD account, took his turns and changed the password and email address so that Ben and i couldn't access this account we paid paid for.........

*smiles*......luckily i was able to resolve this and get back said information......but still.......i think the "friends" who was entrusted with a password and then STOLE in this manner ought to be ashamed of themselves.

BENJIKAT IS DEAD and benjis_widow have been busted and banned for hacking. Whether it was either one of them or both, we are not going to take any chances and hope that the site will not get dragged or affected with whatever personal issues they need to get fixed.

let this be a good example on why we should not hand out passwords. it doesnt matter if the password was just handed out to benji. somehow his wife got it and caused issues. but like King Achilles just said, they dont know if it was benji or his wife or both. now we have 50 games that were won by a player where benji ( the player we issued the password too ) or his wife ( since we dont know who )or both ( since we permit players to use the same IP ) set up. Again, dont hand out passwords.

Um, this whole widow thing was a total outlier. 99.99% of the time, giving your pw to someone who's going to account-sit for you is perfectly harmless. Seriously, JR, what's your big beef with this? Most people, ESPECIALLY around this time of year, have RL commitments that might impede their play. Would you prefer that they deadbeat?
