He attacks himself to gain bonuses, but then leaves the territories between red and green undefended and goes after me (blue). That or he uses red to attack me where I'm strong, then leaves one army there so green can sweep it up.
Between the coordinated play, the 48 seconds between taking turns, and speaking about himself the in the third person, it's painfully obvious this is a multi... or a secret alliances with remarkable timing and a bad memory for one's own name.
