Matchday 11:
TWAT (lozz) v Redcar Royals (cena)
TR Clowns (panc) v Emo United (sam)
Thunder Hawks (amino) v Norfolk and Chance (ice)
Down Under United (iliad) v Red Stick Cajuns (LSU)

Game 1
Redcar Royals have never yet got out of the relation zone, but they seem to be inching closer every week. TWAT have done the opposite, they have never yet been in the relegation zone but are falling ever nearer. If Redcar win they will move above TWAT and the transformation will be complete, if however TWAT manage a win then they will steer themselves 5 points clear of the drop zone.

Teams
TWAT (lozz)
1. Cech, 25, World Class
2. Gallas, 30, Excellent
3. Richards 19, Excellent
4. S. Larsson 22, Very Good
5. Lennon 20, Excellent
6. Ribery, 25 World Class
7. Messi 21, Footballing God
8. A. Ferdinand 23, Very Good
9. Anderson 20, Excellent
10. Adebayor, 24, World Class
11. icedagger, ??, Shite

Redcar Royals(cena)
1. Casillas 27, World Class
2. Senderos 23, Very Good
3. G. Neville 33, Very Good
4. Babel 21, Excellent
5. Robinho, 24, World Class
6. Downing, 23, Excellent
7. Aguero 20, World Class
8. Carr 31, Very Good
9. Joe Cole, 26, Excellent
10. Tevez, 24, Excellent

Match Report
TWAT started well and managed to get a chance on 12 minutes. Lennon threaded through Messi who moved past Senderos with ease. He then curled a shot towards the bottom corner from 10 yards out, only a fantastic save from Casillas denied TWAT of the lead. From the corner which followed Richards managed to get a good header on it, but again a good save from Casillas kept it out.

The game was tightly contested but it took a major twist on 23 minutes. Robinho advanced down the wing when Richards came in for the tackle. The ref blew his whistle and proceeded to send off Richards. It was a horrific two footed challenge that fully deserved a red card, Robinho had to be stretchered off and will miss next weeks game. Cena chose Joe Cole to replace the injured Robinho.

Immediately Cole managed to create a chance for Redcar. He exploited the extra space as he spread a pass to Babel, who the cut in and passed it into Aguero’s feet. The young Argentine then played it back across to Cole, who controlled the ball before bursting down the wing. He then played a great cross into the box and Babel managed to get to it at the back post. He bent down and headed it towards goal, a great reactions save from Cech kept it at 0-0.

The second half was one way traffic as TWAT struggled to cope with only 6 players. On 61 minutes Redcar got another chance to take the lead. Downing played a supreme pass 40 yards along the ground that sent Aguero in on goal; Cech came out of his goal but could do nothing to stop the neat finish from Aguero. The Weird Alternative Team 0-1 Redcar Royals.

TWAT through men forward but they didn’t have enough to trouble the Redcar defence, until the 74th minute that was. Lennon flew past Neville and tried to chip a pass for Messi but Senderos headed it back. Larsson picked up the loose ball and successfully played in Messi. Messi managed to open up a yard of space and fire a shot in. It beat Casillas but fizzed narrowly wide.

Redcar cruised through the last 15 minutes and had a chance to double their lead in injury time. Downing tackled Gallas who then cynically pulled him down from behind. Downing got up to take the free-kick and swung it into the box, Cech came out to collect but couldn’t get there. Instead it fell to Aguero at the back post but he couldn’t keep his header down as he squandered a great chance.

The Weird Alternative Team 0-1 Redcar Royals.
----------------------------------------Aguero 61

(this is for my record)
Bans/ Injuries
Robinho Redcar 1 match
Richards TWAT 1 match

Matchday 11:
TWAT (lozz) 0 v 1 Redcar Royals (cena)
TR Clowns (panc) v Emo United (sam)
Thunder Hawks (amino) v Norfolk and Chance (ice)
Down Under United (iliad) v Red Stick Cajuns (LSU)

Game 2
After finally recording a win last week Emo United are on a high. They reached the final of the FA cup and should now be well up for this match. TRC are in the opposite position, they went agonisingly close to reaching the final but just got edged out to the league leaders. They will however take confidence that no-one has managed to beat them in 90 minutes since pancake took over as manager.

Teams
TRC (panc)
1. Freidel, 36, Excellent
2. Terry, 27, World Class
3. Carragher 30, Excellent
4. Barnes 19, Excellent
5. Flamini 24, Excellent
6. Deco, 31 World Class
7. Van Nistilrooy, 32, World class
8. Hutton 23, Excellent
9. Hargreaves, 27, Excellent
10. Shevchenko, 31, Excellent

Emo United (sam levi)
1. James 37, Excellent
2. Cannavaro, 35, World Class
3. Lahm, 24 Excellent
4. Elano 26, Excellent
5. Fabregas, 20, World Class
6. Rosicky, 27, World Class
7. Torres, 24, World Class
8. Todd 33, Good
9. Mendes 29, Very Good
10. Walcott, 19, Excellent

Match Report
TRC seemed to be still feeling the effects from their gruelling cup match as they started poorly. A slack pass from Barnes fell to the feet of Rosicky. Emo players came up to support and Rosicky picked out Torres with a nice lofted pass. Torres chested it down and laid it off for Fabregas who struck it towards the bottom corner. It skidded along the ground and Freidel couldn’t get there, it hit the post and then went into the goal. Transvestite Rodeo Clowns 0-1 Emo United.

The game slowed down after this and neither side appeared to be threatening. As a result it wasn’t until just 5 mins before half time before there was another big chance. Flamini battled through a tackle from Lahm before passing to Deco. Deco hit it first time to Van Nistilrooy, who knocked it past Cannavaro. The Dutch striker hit a clean shot away but it was well parried by James.

The second half brightened up slightly as Emo attempted to compound Clowns misery. Fabregas combined well with Elano to create space 25 yards from goal. Fabregas then thought about the shot but decided instead to play in Torres. Torres lined up the shot inside the box but a great tackle from Terry stopped the shot. The ball spun away to Rosicky who took a touch and shot it over the bar from just 6 yards out.

Emo got another chance just 5 mins later. A long ball from Cannavaro was flicked on from Torres and Rosicky latched onto it. As Terry came in for the challenge Rosicky skipped to the side and then curled a pass along the ground for Elano. Elano controlled the ball and smashed a shot past Freidel and the post.

TRC finally started to look a little lively in the last 20 minutes, and got an opportunity for their efforts. Deco played it wide to Barnes who spun away from Elano and off down the wing. He fired in a low cross that deflected up off of Lahm. Van Nistilrooy caught it superbly on the volley and managed to keep it on target. James stretched out his hands but failed to catch it as the ball smacked him in the face, while james was down Lahm cleared it.

Due to delays throughout the game, including James being down for 2 minutes, there was 5 minutes of added time. In the very last of those a great opportunity came. Flamini looked to pick out Deco, but before he could pass it Fabregas made the challenge. Emo broke quickly and Fabregas played a through pass for Elano, who in turn sent in Torres. Torres got away from the pursuing defenders and went one on one with Freidel. Torres knocked it past the keeper, but his touch was too strong and he couldn’t catch the ball before it went over the goal line for a goal kick.

Transvestite Rodeo Clowns 0-1 Emo United.
-------------------------------------Fabregas 13

Other games likely tommorow.

Thunder Hawks (amino) v Norfolk and Chance (ice)
Down Under United (iliad) v Red Stick Cajuns (LSU)

Game 3
Thunder Hawks recent turn around in form has been a long time coming, but their first win is still eluding them and today would be the perfect time to change that. 7. Rooney, 22, World Class
8. Finnan 31, Excellent
9. Mascherano, 23, Excellent
10. Eduardo, 25, Excellent

Match Report
The match started off fairly evenly with Norfolk having most of the ball and Thunder Hawks looking to break away quickly. The first chance fell for Norfolk and Chance on 18 minutes. Pirlo turned quickly and picked out Gerrard who was free in the middle of the park. Gerrard turned 30 yards from goal and when no-one closed him down he took a shot that screamed past Given and bounced back of the bar, terrific effort.

Norfolk started to gain in confidence and the TH players resorted to chopping down their opponents at every opportunity. As Nani advanced he was snapped by Dawson but the ball ran loose to Gerrard and the referee played advantage. Gerrard picked out Rooney who flicked the ball beautifully past Denilson, he then ran onto it and curled a shot towards the bottom corner. Given saved it easily though as the shot lacked power.

In the last 10 minutes of the first half Norfolk quietened down a little and Thunder hawks started to come back at them. Ballack picked out Villa well who had no trouble beating Puyol. He then shot well but Van Der Sar got down well to parry it away.

In the second half Thunder Hawks sat back and kept a lot of possession until the 68th minute when they flung everyone forward in a cavalier attempt to score. Dawson picked out Ballack who struck it first time, the shot was well blocked by Pirlo. It fell to Pederson who chipped it back into the box and Villa headed it on to Denilson at the back post. Denilson caught it on the volley that smashed into the side netting.

On 73 minutes Norfolk and Chance created a good chance for themselves. Gerrard made a run through the middle before slipping it through for Rooney. Rooney cut inside then back out, he sprinted past Ferdinand and side footed the ball past Given and into the corner of the goal. Thunder Hawks 0-1 Norfolk and Chance.

From then on Norfolk looked in control of the game and could of went further ahead on 81 minutes had Rooney timed his run better as he was ruled offside after putting the ball in the net. The last chance of the game however fell to thunder Hawks late on. A long ball from from given was headed on by Ferdinand to Pederson who found himself through on goal, he shot low and hard but it went well wide, what a waste.

Thunder Hawks 0-1 Norfolk and Chance.
--------------------'---Rooney 73

1-0 to the away side seems to be the in thing these days.

Matchday 11:
TWAT (lozz) 0 v 1 Redcar Royals (cena)
TR Clowns (panc) 0 v 1 Emo United (sam)
Thunder Hawks (amino) 0 v 1 Norfolk and Chance (ice)
Down Under United (iliad) v Red Stick Cajuns (LSU)

Game 4
It’s the big one. 1st plays 3rd in a very important match. DDU can not afford to lose this game, if they do they will fall 7 points behind RSC with just 3 games remaining. If they did win however it would put them back in the title race with Norfolk and Ice to play next week. Should RSC fail to win then Norfolk will go back top in this rollercoaster title race.

Teams
Down Under United (illy)
1. Hart 20, Very Good
2. Vidic 26, Excellent
3. Agger 23, Excellent
4. Xavi, 28 World Class
5. Lampard, 29, World Class
6 .Arshavin, 27 World Class
7. Drogba, 30, World Class
8. Yobo 27, Very Good
9. K. Miller, 28, Very Good
10. A. Young 22, Very Good

Red Stick Cajuns (lsu)
1. Buffon, 30, World Class
2. Ashley Cole 27, Excellent
3. Clichy 22, Excellent
4. Quaresma, 24, World Class
5. Alonso, 26, Excellent
6. C. Ronaldo 23, Footballing God
7. D. Bent, 24, Excellent
8. Lucas 21, Very Good
9. Kranjcar 23, Good
10. Zarate, 21, Very Good
11. Huddlestone, 21, Good

Match Report
The game started off in dramatic fashion with the league leaders on the attack. Ronaldo burst down the wing running past Xavi and cutting inside. He then drove at Vidic who tackled him, Ronaldo fell to the floor and the referee pointed to the spot. The replays showed that Vidic got the ball cleanly! Ronaldo stepped up and smashed it to the right but it went well wide, terrible penalty.

The game was exciting with both teams creating chances; DDU got a particularly good one on 20 minutes. Lampard passed to Arshavin, who controlled it, took a few touches and then played it on. Drogba received it and he took it round Cole, he struck it well and Buffon dived down to his left to make a great save.

As half time approached Red Stick started to take control. Quaresma did a few step-overs before sending in down the wing for Ronaldo. Agger attempted the challenge but Ronaldo knocked it past him, he then spun a great cross into the box. Bent rose up above Vidic to header it into the bottom corner. Down Under United 0-1 Red Stick Cajuns.

The second half started a little slower with DDU failing to threaten the RSC goal. Instead the next chance fell to Bent once more. Alonso played it through to Quaresma who drove down the wing and whipped a ball into the area. Bent got to it at the front post and nodded it towards the far corner, it had Hart beat but went wide of the mark.

On 65 minutes Alonso turned awkwardly and hurt his ankle, he had to be replaced and will e out until the final week of the season (2 games). He was replaced by Kranjcar.

The game never really got going again until the last 15 minutes when DDU got a chance for an equaliser. Arshavin played a one two with Lampard that got him to the edge of the box. He spotted Xavi making a run and played him through, the Spaniard was just 8 yards out but his frist touch let him down and Clichy had a chance to clear. It was a poor clearance that fell to Drogba who controlled it and shot past Buffon, and the past the net.

As the game entered the final stages DDU flung men forward as they seen their title hopes started to disappear. On 84 minutes they got their last chance of the match. Drogba held the ball up 20 yards from goal, he then back heeled it through Cole’s legs to Arshavin. The Russian knocked it round Clichy to find himself with just the keeper to beat. He struck it low and hard, Buffon dived down but couldn’t reach it. The ball went in and DDU fans went nuts, the game ends a draw. Down Under United 1-1 Red Stick Cajuns.

Down Under United 1-1 Red Stick Cajuns.
