Wow, it is really nice looking.

I bet you the game play is still the same as every other FPS in the world.

*yawn* Halo has always been overrated, and when I see something that surprises me in the newest installment, i'll let you know.

One of my friend's cousins got to play Halo 3 before it came out because his dad had something to do with designing the game (not exactly sure).

Yeah, once we get past all the politics and religious nonsense, we can come together in our mutual indifference toward Halo.

I have played it online. It's nothing special.

Once you've played Team Fortress Classic, Counter-Strike, Battlefront, and Day of Defeat, you've done it all already.

i didnt really like team fortress... but thoseothers are good.

idk why its just that halo is the easiest to operate. like, the controls make more sense... and that reduces the use of keyboard. unless you want to type

And if you put those games into a blender, threw in some pretty graphics, and put it all on frappe, then you'll get something that walks, talks, and looks like Halo.

The FPS began with Wolfenstein 3D, was perfected in Doom, was revolutionized with games like Quake, Unreal Tournament, and Half-Life, then Halo came along and through a combination of an exclusive Xbox release, pretty graphics, and some of the dumbest viral marketing ever became one of the greatest successes ever. Not sure why, the multiplayer is pretty standard, the single-player is as repetitive as games like Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and the storyline is about as original as Oprah is white.

Not to say that it is a bad game, it's just not as special as everyone seems to think it is.

i disagree with you, but at this point it is obvious thati'm not going to say "yes you are right, halo is just a clone" and you aren't going to concede to my point either... and we have more important threads to argue about.
