Fabled- I joined 1 game and that was because you were spewing so much crap about him in your game with him I had to see if it was dfaarc playing or if he was being hijacked. Even in the couple of games I joined with Spike when he was deranking, he played against me. Unlike DAT and others who joined his games after I informed them that I didnt believe it was dfaarc creating those games, I was trying to find out what was going on. I joined the game when he was slightly below brig and the game finished up with him as a striper. I didnt join any more afterward, and I do not believe it was him who started those games. I may be a farmer but I have my own limitations to the games I join and unlike DAT who joined 7 games after I wrote in game chat saying that dfaarc was being hijacked, I spend time and find the games I want to join, I dont need those charity points

I created game 3195845 and dfaarc joined so I joined in one of his. I knew nothing at this point. Once I saw how crappy he was playing I joined 2 more. Then he quit making moves. So I checked to see how many he was in, then I realized what was happening and did not join anymore. I gained 78 points total. 31 in the games he joined, 47 in the games i joined.

I sincerely hope he doesn't come back. After saying he was sick of farming, he joined 6 of my 6p, esc, term, 2000+ games. At the time he was a brig. Now he has 77 points. I don't like the prospect of losing my first 100 point game.

He created some games and I did grab some, but then realized he was point dumping and sent him a message to cease ... the message was read, but I didn't get a response back. It's infuriating.

He farmed his way to the top, he's only giving the points back to the community. I'm a bit shocked though that the leader of the Imp Goons would also grab an easy 62 points.

I saw the games going up and thought he was going to create 5-6 games total, which isn't uncommon ... after I joined up, I went back because he wasn't taking his turns and he had 30 something ... and now it is said it has been hacked? Hmmm.... :-k This is being investigated.

Wouldn't you be able to tell in a few seconds if one of his regular IPs logged in to create all those games? Wait, never mind. The fact that you haven't done so already says enough.

Different IPs means nothing. I use the public library, the schools library/labs, and home to access my account, and sometimes friends house (I like recruiting people to the game). He could've just been point dumping from elsewhere.

Note that I said 'one of his regular IPs'. Proper logging would be able to determine if he frequently used an IP or not. Then again some people might actually read a book at the library and go to school to, you know, do school work.

Yeah, I know it's quite an ordeal to keep your social (e-)life hip and happening (MySpace, Facebook, text messaging, 'lounging' , 'clubbing' , etc.). The only downside is that it keeps you from doing anything interesting and/or useful.

We shouldn't derail the thread though, dfaarc was dumping points and some people were just a bit too happy with that.

it is not uncommon for some players to have other players "take their turns" because they know they are going o be absent....i have seen some pretty high ranked players sprout about it in game chat....

so maybe someone who had done tis for him did re-hack his account....

but i have a question, If he was points dumping, (and lets face it people do that all the time) is it wrong to take his points?????? people will always take them....i am not saying its right, i a asking if it is wrong???

Yes it is wrong - the mods have stated that many times before, it's also in the written rules, aka taking advantage of intentional debeating.

There you have it - anyways they've already said ignorance of the rules is not an excuse. I suggest you go look at others who have point dropped - the last time someone did it they were banned.... first premium was stripped, then the account banned altogether.

To be clear though, the players who try to lose points are punished. Not the ones who take the points. I don't think anyone on that list has anything to worry about. After all, he was just recycling points that came from new recruit deadbeats anyways. Just speeding up inflation.

It never occurred to me that he would not play in them, therefore unless there is a rule against joining a lot of games at once against the same person all u haters can go fug off.

You will never prove that I knew that this player was an intentional dead beater, mainly because I did not know that he was indeed that, an intentional dead beater.

So all u mofos can go kick rocks bitch, and if cc tries to take away my account because they accuse me of cheating, I will sue all of their mah f-in asses!

Such arrogant speaking from someone who might get their premium stripped. If it's happened in the past they don't have to "prove" shit you dolt. Then again what do I expect from a player like you. I'm not saying anything will happen, I'm just saying you're an idiot.

I sincerely hope that Krofnome in particular does not benefit from this mess, joining 20+ speed games makes no sense unless you know the other guy is deadbeating.

I joined several of his circus games when he was general, which is no different than when I joined Klobber doing the same thing I thought. I was mighty surprised when he went down to cook tho, and posted a comment in one of the games, which of course he never replied to. I like earning my points the old fashioned way, beating higher ranks; and losing them the old fashioned way, losing to cadets with ridiculous rolls

Question: I understand taking advantage of intentionally deadbeating games is illegal, as is intentionally deadbeating.

Is point-dumping against the rules, written or un-written?
