Scott, you know me, and you darn well I would never be caught for cheating of any kind. As Max knows I find Farming a weak way to gain points, but by no means is it cheating. If anything the accounts owners gave Max their password for a reason. Because of trust. The Mods have seen this as a possible advantage that could be taken and as such have imposed a block.
This is by no means a guilty charge, this is a procaution so no Scott, he has not cheated his way to the top. If he had why has there not been a Bust/Score-reset?

The fact of the matter is he had the potential to cheat, the mods have never confirmed he did so and as such he is still innocent and the mods have rightfully issued a block and nothing more as their is no solid evidence to show cheating, only evidence that could be interpreted to be cheating.

At any rate, yeah its my reputation at stake, but I do not believe for one second I chose the wrong side. Therefore it is very much still intact.

You're correct LF, you don't owe anyone an apology but if I were in your position, I would've. I wasn't implying you had or would ever cheat, however it does concern me why you're so adamant on defending Max after he's been found guilty. Either you've misinterpreted the overwhelming evidence of abuse or you've misinterpreted account sitting rules. Regardless of which, 10+ players are not going to be blocked because he was innocent. A block is guilt LF- perhaps another misinterpretation by you.

The way I see this is that max was abusing the sitting of accounts. Since there is no fool proof way to lock him out of other people's accounts, they did the best they could for now by blocking these players. I do not believe they thought Paddy would team up with prank and play both account, rather that max had both passwords, and could do it. That is just what I thought they did by putting in these blocks.

When I first read the ruling I just thought max was blocked from playing with those people. Having blocks between each of of those accounts if you ask me is not fair at all. Seems like that anybody who ever had max sit for them took just as hard of a beating as max did and that is not right. Max was the one who did the wrong, yet everybody else has to suffer? Not cool. Did any player, besides Max, make moves for other players that can be considered abuse? Anotherwards, did everyone exchange passwords to allow others to make moves for them while they were not away. There is no way Max babysat all those accounts by himself. Theres no way all those players needed someone to watch their accounts. So did all those players listed take turns like Max or was he the only player making all the moves? please head back to the juror room and let us know if it was just Max or everyone listed.

6 private games against this player. this player makes very odd moves in all 6 games. Allowing you to keep bonuses and attacking neutrals for no reason. Very odd deployments that are no where near the action which attack you but really applies no damage to prevent you from winning. Is this another example of cheating?

I have been trying to teach her how to play on conquerclub, but as far as I know, she did not throw any game. if you look much earlier, she even beat me in one game. She is learning, but me playing my friend is in no way cheating.

I was accused in this mornings emaiI of breaking Rule # 1 (no multiple accounts) and Rule #2 (no secret alliances). I have never had a multiple account nor have I ever had a secret alliance.

I can't speak for anyone else on this list, as I have never talked to most of them, but I only ever let Max have my password for legitimate account sitting. I didn't know that Max sat for this many accounts and I didn't know that sitting for multiple accounts was a violation of the rules. I was having my account sat for legitimate reasons, mainly travel. Why am I being labeled a cheater???

did Max start any games using your account or did you join/start all the games ? That could be an issue there. I dont want anyone labeled as a cheater either if they did nothing wrong. Its a tough call since you are responsible for your own account.

I never started ANY games for ANY other account other than my own. I only played out of necessity when there were only a few hours left in their turns to which they could play, other than when people told me they were going away for a while, in which case I played whenever their turns came up. I never abused anyones accounts, and the only issue which has been referenced to is the two games in which I played for paddy in our doubs games when he wasnt online and was about to miss. While I understand that take his turn can be considered strategic as opposed to necessity, when someone is about to miss, strategy is me starting my turn, not playing for paddy. Additionally, at the time when I played those turns, the rules differed and werent straightforward which is why I felt the need to have someone play for me. I didnt break the rules, and the people who say that I did are afraid that they might lose points to me while babysitting on someone elses account. The ban was made out of haste and not logic. I didnt break the rules
