as much as scott and i have had our differences, to say that people toss him games is pretty absurd...he was/is an excellent standard player as well...

Staggering lack of perspicacity there Delia. “It solves nothing”??????? What about the fact that this person has been caught and 10 accounts can no longer be played alongside him in games? Your simplistic and naive viewpoint is exactly the reason these people get away with so much....Max has not played by the rules, been caught, and now been punished…but would you prefer he was left alone so he could continue? Would you prefer others suffered so he could continue? Perhaps so, only you can answer that question honestly.

It is only through steady and relentless chasing down of players who break the rules, by other players, that this site can be sorted out, or would you prefer us to be all sugary and nice to each other as long as we are senior ranks of course, avoid the realities and just carry on letting them, and others, abuse the system?

I applaud what has happened here, it matters not that Max can babysit others, he will be watched. He now has ‘previous’ as we say in the UK and I am sure his IP address is well noted.

From the quick verdict in such a high profile case, it's apparent the evidence against Max was indeed overwhelming. Nice bust- Bruce. Keep up the good work......turns out it had nothing to do with a vendetta after all.

Block results in addition to Wall of Shame? I think that's going over - because all accounts were blocked. Wouldn't that mean people such as KG + Prank would be removed as well? I don't particularly want to see any of that...

I don't believe he cheated, hence why I believe a Score-Reset wasn't done. But the fact he was blocked does show that he could have cheated and the mods wanted to stop it.

Don't get me wrong, I do concede that KingA has the ability to find something I missed, then again he is a mod and is hired to make a verdict in cases like this and knows what to look for. However a block is not a bust. As quite simply the evidence is not strong enough to punish him further. A block is the next step up to noted and this is just to prevent the supposed 'gaining an advantage in team games'. He can still babysit so as such they obviously don't believe him taking turns for Paddy when he is going to miss is wrong. As I have already said and argued for the past 2 days.

That is the key word here in that KingA never busts him for abuse but says the opportunity was there. Which I never argued against. I said that Max didn't, I never said he couldn't.
KingA hasn't Busted him, he has just put in a 'Level 2 procaution' to prevent any abuse actually occuring.

I don't think anyone can say this was a clear cut case as alot of it is open to interpretation and although i'm shocked to see a Block put in place it wasn't much of a punishment compared to my original suggestion of just noting down the evidence.

So I still don't concede he cheated, I still believe he is legal but it probably is better that a Block were issued just so it gets people off Max's back.

Max is not guilty of Secret Diplomacy or Babysitting Abuse, however no-one has ever suggested he didn't have the opportunity to cheat, and even with the verdict no-one confirmed he has cheated so in the end, the wrong horse was a matter of opinion. Scott and Bruce may go around and brag claiming this to be a bust.

The truth is, nothing changes except Max's ability to play Doubles games with his friends. But even then, he can always appeal against it

You have Skittles quoted when it was me...... owe a few apologies, couple to Comic and Frop in your haste to defend Max of cheating. He did in fact cheat his way to the top no matter how you justify it. Cheating does occur LF no matter how well you like the accused or dislike the accusers. Frankly, my personal feelings towards the posters defending him is that perhaps they practice the same and if so, when Max is guilty and one practices the same, then they are too. May be a huge leap but .......


EDIT: In no way does that mean you were wrong to believe in his innocence, just be cautious of whom you defend. In the end it's your reputation at stake.

I never cheated in one game...I am a farmer and proud of it, but nothing I did was against the rules. They blocked me from playing with those players because those are some of the players I have the passwords for...If I had known that they would block them all from playing, I would have included my knowledge of Scott-Land's, bruceswar's, InsomniaRed's, and RashidJelzin's passwords as well

I babysit many accounts and there is nothing wrong with that. If I had actually cheated they would have reset my score as LFAW pointed out. I did not do anything that violated the rules and by you saying I did scott only shows your ignorance
