I have the map open in another window so am looking at it - Brunei is the Orange country diectly west of the brownish Central Indonesia, yes? It has a line from its northeast corner up to the Phillipines which works. It has a line from the west-southwest corner to Sumatra which DOESNT work. There is NO line or physically connected border between Sumatra and Java to the southeast but that connection DOES work...

it makes connections very obvious

When I use the tester, it cuts off the right edge of this particular map. Does anyone else have that problem?

I've studied this map for a bit today and I think I have the answer. If you look closely, there is a light grey border running along the northern edge of the largish island that you think is Brunei. It would seem that Central Indonesia is actually BOTH the mostly dark gray blob to the right of the circle with the army number AND almost all of the orange island to the left of the circle with the army number. ONLY the very northern edge of that orange island is Brunei. Therefore, the dark grey line which appears to connect Sumatra to Brunei ACTUALLY connects Sumatra with Central Indonesia.
Clear as mud yet? PM me if you don't see it and maybe we can get in the chat and I can make more sense than I do in prose.

mayby they can write it somewhere on the map so it is clearer, i didn't see it at al that i coun't attack from brunei
Kegler wrote:yes, the brunei, central indonesia, sumatra area does not work properly for attacking.
I attacked from central Indo to sumatra because it would not allow brunei to sumatra....It worked from central indo to sumatra, lol, but would not allow the advance of armies. I wanted to finish my goal of far east bonus.
Not sure if you have looked into this.
thankyou,
