Statecraft and Dan Doobie [cleared]

Postby padfootsm on Sun Aug 17, 2008 2:43 pm

Accused:

Statecraft
Dan Doobie

The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis (Maybe...but I'm not sure on this one)
Conducting Secret Diplomacy (More likely...judging by the way in which they play and openly admitted to being friends, but then when I brought out that such a thing was against the rule, Dan Doobie said it was 'just a joke/he was just joshing'

Game number(s):

Game 3068646

Comments:
I decided to not press the issue after it was brought up that they may be cheating by working together, as I felt that Statecraft was reacting like a little child when accused, rather than simply just denying it. In any case...I looked at another game they were playing and saw similar remarks about them being friends and working together. It seems they know each other rather well possibly?

Not for sure, just saying it could be.

Tough call on the secret alliance. The dialog is flippant in tone, so it seems unclear whether Dan Doobie is in on the joke or not.

Very, very doubtful they are multis, probably a secret alliance if they do know each other in real life. They have only been in a couple of other games together. Probably will get a <Noted>.

Statecraft is a laugh a minute. Check out his wall. He's even crazier when in game. I played a 1v1 with him - man alive. I don't know what kind of drugs he needs, but pharmaceutical is the grade.

This accusation truly surprises me and not in a very pleasant way. If I recall, and before I go any further, let me say at the outset that I am a man with many responsibilities and carry many a person's burden in life, and so, to find some opprobrious rogue defiling my reputation over a meaningless game of twit is most exasperating. Let's now address the issue at hand - Paddlefoot alleges that he is a soldier or so he says. I informed him of my prior service to my country and I believe the conversation to be pleasant enough. Then I come here because some pest insists that I do, and see such calumny and from such a mindless sop too. I am a computer novice and barely know how to log in so to have two id's is preposterous. It is also self evident that the numerous dregs who populate this site do not like me and it is I who has been maligned and ganged up on many - many times.

To be honest, his was posted before our game was over. I wasn't sure how to take your comments about knowing Dan Doobie...and then I looked into your other game and saw that there too you said you two knew each other...and that others wouldn't win because of it. Thus, I made this post prior to game completion. Take that as you will.

Statecraft and Dan Doobie are cleared of being multis with each other. Whether they do actually now each other or not, if you think they had a secret alliance in your game, feel free to leave the appropriate ratings. They have played 3 games together so far and in these games they don't really indicate anything suspicious enough. This is noted for future reference.
