I found this website recently while googling something for creating mountains in GIMP. Its basically a website dedicated to map making. I joined so that I could see the different tutorials, which many of them are very good. I have looked at some of the maps some of them have made, and in my opinion the people there are very good at making maps. I just wanted to let you guys know about this site, cause I find that its very good at helping me get better at making maps. They also have in one of their threads a list of graphix design programs, many of which Ive never heard of, but seem very good. Hopefully some of you guys will take at least a quick glance at it (mainly the forums, if you can find the link. I just gave the link to the main page, the forum link is somewhere on it).


So yea, just wanted to let you guys know about it

edit: oh and also, their style of maps differs from ours slightly.

Same goes for me, their Tutorials are excellent, i already learned a lot by reading them
