I noticed that the Klober-thread was locked a while ago. What intrigued me the most in that thread was the seemingly obvious multi-accounts (see the above, but there may be others as well, don’t really remember) that were set up in order to kick the guy in the groin. I searched a little, but I don’t see that this was picked up by the mods (correct me if I’m wrong).

Even though perhaps understandable, there no good excuses for setting up multi-accounts. Hence this formal filing.

I dont understand why a IP check is not performed? I havent followed this case, but im seeing alot of accounts ( players ) being mentioned that they are his multis. There cant be that many players using the same IP if it is true.

I know that the hunters checked for this before, but since that didn't result in anything it's very unlikely he's using the same IP(s) for all the accounts. My best guess would be that he uses proxies and possibly one of the applications that switches between hundreds of proxies automatically. I won't name it here to avoid further problems, but it will open a different tunnel for every action performed on the net.

I doubt the hunters wouldn't have picked up on that. If klobber is guilty he definitely isn't your average run-of-the-mill cheater - you'd need to apply a wide range of tactics to create that many multis without getting caught.

I know this looks like pretty convincing evidence against me, but you can IP check me or whatever but I swear I do not know who those accounts are, I just joined those games to piss klobber off (see my other thread where I enocuraged everyone to join his games)

JR - These are accounts assumingly set up by a third player (whose real account is not in any of the games). Seems like the accounts were created in order to target this Klober-guy. Someone apparently had an axe to grind.

Nah. For so many reasons, I had no reason to believe you had anything to do with this. So nope, no Kemmler in my post at least (I leave that up to others if so...).

Nobody but Kemmler actually suggested the idea that the multis may have been Kemmler's. It is very suspicious that Kemmler saw fit to inject the idea into this conversation independently.

I harbor an idle notion that the multi-hunters might look into this possibility, if the mood strikes them. I really don't care much if people like Kemmler use multis against me though, so I won't even bother filing a report -- this entire issue is a joke, and I will still maintain a higher rank through honest skill and superior intelligence, even against any and all cheaters who may come my way.

Considering the number of more or less hostile posts I've seen with your name mentioned in them, I don't think it makes sense to attempt pointing a finger at someone. Also, Kemmler is, as far as I'm aware, a stand-up guy. I doubt that he would set up a bunch of multi-accounts.

Besides, anyone bothering to set up a bunch of accounts via proxys (presumably to hide his tracks and not because it's funny to see different flags in the profile) in order to target a particular player wouldn't actually enter the games with his real account. That would be pretty pointless.

I'll vouch for kemmler. Who is a stand up guy and wouldnt dream of creating multi's. He's actaully stated in the clan forums he's bored of points and the ranking system. Again klobber trying to derail threads

Twigg has to investigate these. He busted another for using multis and bouncing the ip address. It has recently slowed due to the historic bust. Lots of others did this until then.

Did the bust include any other account? After all, someone seemingly put some effort into creating these multis.

I understand that KLOBBER is quite naive but creating multis just to beat him in his CM games is even more naive. If someone did use any "effort", they're wasting their time.

As I recall it (someone correct me if i am wrong) there was indeed quite some effort. These accounts were clearly multis, but showed different IP-addresses. That's a pretty nasty set of multis; spread out, not the type easily spot.

Hmm... well... I think it may be more accurate stating that the multis found Klober and not the other way around. It's not like he did report any multis that it actually took any effort to sniff out.
