I'm working on my cards now. I just got a new laptop a few weeks ago, and I was trying to figure out what I should do about image editing... until now I've been using the computers in my school's Journalism room, which all have photoshop CS3 on them, but now I need something else. I downloaded GIMP last night, so I should have the cards ready soon.

If you don't sign up for this game, I'm going to net-stalk you for years until I find out where you are, at which point I will travel cross-country on my bike so that I can hide in your bushes and make strange noises. If you come out to investigate you'll get a face full of cheez-whiz. And then I'll kill you.

1st off: thank you for your lovely pm.

and your questions:

1. if anyone can recommend a decent way to do it using a computer progam, i'll use that. if not, i'll have to make a little deck out of torn up bits of paper with names written on them (or leave them blank, if its a blank card) and use that. sigh.


2. it's be best to send 'em in a pm, so the other players don't see the cards 'til they get played, mmkay?

Use random.org's list randomizer Make a text file with "blank" written a bunch of times, and then the name of each card. Drop that into the list randomizer, and use the card at the top of the list. Then simply use that newly-randomized list like a deck, and keep drawing cards from the top. If it's ever necessary to "shuffle" something into the deck, add it to the end then randomize the list again. (you're copy/pasting and saving the list in a file, of course)

I'd say you have plenty enough players. More would just be too confusing. I think the mafiascum game you linked to had only 6 players to start with.
