goeasy & yougoingdown [Busted]

Accused:

The accused are suspected of:
  • Being Multis

Game number(s):

Comments:
Suspect one user is controlling both accounts. Turns two and three in the game were made at exactly the same time by both users (in a freestyle game) and they only attacked me. This is in a three person game. Turn four they both missed together and then on turn 5 they moved exactly at the same time again and attacked only me. Either it's an amazing concidence that two diverse users in the world could move like that but it's more likely one user is controlling both these accounts. I guess two users coordinating their moves together is a possibility as well.

The turns were not made at exactly the same time. They were made sequentially (which actually helps your case). The early turns were made within a minute of one another, but later on the turns were spaced by 10 minutes or so. Also, the only times that these two attacked each other were to get continents, and once blue (yougoingdown) took one territory from red (goeasy) to continue a run on green (ColonelPanic).

You too the term exactly too literally. And your comments seem to indiciate it could be one person with two accounts moving sequentially or two people coordinating their moves. I guess it's possible that two people in different parts of the world would take turns 2, 3, and 5 within minutes of each other and miss turn 4 together but I'd imagine it's on par with the odds of being struck by lightening.

Player 2 moving within minutes of player 1 is not to my advantage as you claim. As you know in freestyle I would have the opportunity to move again before player 2 and before player 2 attacked me and took my territory so I'm not sure what you're talking about there. Two players coordinating the timing of their moves in freestyle is collusion and gives unfair advantage. How much you wanna bet the next move is within minutes of each other? What do you think are the odds of that happening concidentially after rounds 2-5?

I meant it helps your claim. If it was two players who had active turns at the same time, it is less likely to be multis than if it is two players who are playing back-to-back with very little time in between. I was saying that I agree with you. From the limited information I have (turn logs) I believe that there is some form of coordination going on.

Cheers mate. Both players did move back to back, in the same order, and within 5 minutes of each other yet again. Either way no problem. I just thought it seemed suspect and thought I'd share with the board. GLTA!

Here is the proof. In response to my negative feedback he admits to collusion with another player to take moves at the same time. Says they text each other in games without letting other players in the game know they are working together.

"yougoingdown's response: poor loser i think yes i do know goeasy he is a friend but id never let him bet me i hate to lose two accounts what a joke whats the point ? if we are in a game together we will normaly txt each other when we on good bye and good luck. and we both live in same city not the other side of world "

Suspects:
* goeasy
* yougoingdown

Verdict: Busted for multiple accounts.
