Gone.

Finally...

This should have been done a lot sooner.

It's also brought up the question as to why we have 2 players at 1 point on the scoreboard...

Over the next week or so (once we get the update out the door and I can get some database time) I'm going to be doing a big cleanup of intentional deadbeaters at the bottom of the pile.

We'll keep everyone posted.

Good job!!
I've watched this player for a while and is neg FB's were just a million reason to ban him.
Others with as many neg FB deserve the same though. :(

Did benji do anything that could be prohibited on the grounds that other players couldn't do anything to stay away from him? If he wants to deadbeat games so be it. Just don't join them. I thought that is what feedback was supposed to be for- a warning.

If he was premium you had no right to steal his money like that. Even if he wasn't, you still cannot ban a person for deadbeating now and then.

Unwritten Rules

Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games, intentional deadbeating, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts.

Wrestler its in the rules he deadbeated over half his games thats pretty intentional he deserved his ban.

He was previously warned that the behavior was grounds for a ban. Also, it was not now and then, it was intentional serial deadbeating.

You are correct, Sir.

If a website does not provide a client with a full refund of his money for services promised and not rendered, then all he need do is go to his bank (or credit card company, as the case may be) and expose that site's illegal scam. His bank will then reclaim his funds to his account in full, electronically -- no questions asked.

My bank just loves doing this for me, as fund reclamation is a "win-win" situation for me and for them. I once had them reclaim over $1000 of my money at one sitting. They were tickled pink to help me, as my money went straight back into their vault, and a great time was had by all!

This is good information for other innocent consumers to keep in mind:

Always remember that, as a paying consumer, your rights are primary and inviolate, and you are 100% immune to the shenanigans of any and all internet scammers. [-X

Cheaters detract from the gaming experience of all Conquer Club players, and proactive measures are employed to enforce fair-play. Conquer Club reserves the right to suspend accounts and cancel Premium Memberships, with or without warning, of those players who are deemed to have violated the rules.

The first paragraph on the rules page... so if he paid for premium or not.... it doesn't matter they reserve the right to take it away if he breaks the rules... thats pretty simple...

When you sign up to this site you agree to abide by there rules if you can't than they can cancel your membership...

A consumer has the right to dispute a service or product if it is not as represented. In short, if the consumer accepts the terms and conditions of the service or product then he has no recourse for dispute. If the provider does not clarify terms and conditions then the consumer can take action.

In this case, CC has met all it's legal obligations and any action taken by the consumer would be inviolate.

Klobber's advice is incorrect and would only lead to trouble if it were followed.

The above two posts by cisco2001 and sparkyball are the ones I'd pay attention to on this page thus far. Oh, and this one too! ;)

You are wrong about that, Sir.

Banks will always automatically side with their loyal customers, as if the funds were their very own, and banks do have the authority to electronically reclaim funds rendered by internet. Your bank will not question your claim, they will just pursue it for you with vehemence.

I have done it several times with would-be internet scammers, and the only so-called "trouble" involved was the trouble produced by the would-be internet scammers themselves, as it naturally folded back in on them with little or no effort on my part, leaving me totally unscathed and unscammed.

CONCLUSION:

Your money belongs to you 100%, even if it has already been transferred to an internet scammer's account under false pretenses, until services promised are rendered in full.

You cheat here AND in real life! Who would have thought?

Maybe if you were a bit smarter, you wouldn't have been scammed in the first place.

You are wrong, Klobber. Get over it. Enough of us here actually DO know something about law, and CC's terms and conditions state that YOU ARE WRONG

Nope. CC Admin has stated on two separate occasions in this forum that I am not cheating. Also, I am still here.

Reclaiming funds from internet scammers with the help of your bank is not cheating; it is thwarting a would-be cheater.

I have never been scammed; all of my money is still in my account. There's really no need to begin flaming.

No, but I do get irritated when I have to talk to a mouth-breathing fool like yourself who obviously has no clue about financial law...

Yes, quite a bit:

First, you'd need to convince the bankers to go out of their way to enter into this puny website and read that tripe. Then you'd have to convince them to give a flying hump at a rolling donut.

They don't care; all they want to do is satisfy their customers and line their vaults with as much green as possible.

They will side with you in every case of attempted internet scamming, and they WILL reclaim your funds electronically without question.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that this is good news, guys -- it applies not only to this website, but to other internet scammers as well! \:D/

It's Benjij who got scammed, not me.

It can't be a scam when the rules are clearly stated. Any bank that would take away money from CC by thinking it's a scam should not be in service. They're scamming legitimate businesses.
