Well I suppose the idea isn't really that this is a league but more just a group of people who like to play similar style games. The reason that I'm throwing this up is that I greatly enjoy playing 8 player singles games, sequential, no cards, chained fort on smaller maps (not things like world 2.1 and it usually is classic although I don't mind trying others). I like playing a lot of these games, I currently have 107 active. Up until now I have created the games simply by creating a bunch of public games and waiting for people to join. The problem with this is that I get a ton of new recruits who deadbeat. Not only is it frustrating to wait so long to take a turn it also greatly changes the dynamic of the game when someone gets a free border from neutrals.
The idea I had was to compile a list of people who are interested in playing these sorts of games and make a bunch of private ones with the password posted in here. That would mean that only people who came on the forums and into this thread would get into the games and it would hopefully eliminate virtually all of the deadbeats.
So if you're interested in playing games like this just post here and let me know. I don't need to be the one to start all of these. You can feel free to start your own the PM me that you have. Include the numbers and I'll update this post with a list of current open games with roughly these criteria.
As far as I'm concerned there is no rank requirement and no premium requirement. If you see a game you want to join feel free to hop on in, just don't deadbeat.
