alele, alebolso, labirra [busted]

Postby Hamanu on Sat May 10, 2008 5:44 am

Accused:

The accused are suspected of:

  • Having a secret alliance

Game number(s):

Comments:
These three players, who are all from Uruguay, tend to join 6 to 8 player games together and they never attack each other (unless necessary to hold a territory) until they've eliminated all other players from the game. In game 2284197 one of them held Oceania, and another held China with only 1 army on their respective borders. If you look at the games they played in, whenever two or three of them are in a game, it is almost always that one of them wins the match.

I'd like to add that they also might be multis. In game 2405099 the "three" players played their turns within 8 minutes. Alele finished at 17:01:09, labirra started at 17:01:48 etc.

Dunno if they're multis (now "only" two out of three played within a minute), but they definitely have a secret alliance in game 2405099. Just look at how alele and labirra "defend" South America. labirra had 4 in Parana in round 4..

They look look like multis, act like multis and play like multis. Excellent find! They'll be busted

And again they play within minutes of one another... when are they finally going to be busted?

They are playing together in Game 2405099 as I write this. Same sort of set up, all playing within minutes of each other, working together.

It takes time to go through these reports. The best advice I can give you is to put the players on your ignore list so that they cannot play against you again, and to have patience. If it is that obvious, when the hunters do have time to deal with the cheaters, then the accounts will be busted, but whatever games have already been started will still be allowed to finish.

Yah, I know. But these guys, even if they are not multis (unlikely since they persistently play within minutes of one another), have a secret alliance at the very least. Now in round 13, purple has one unit on Pakistan and blue, with his 12 in Iran, will not even consider breaking into India and Oceania, but will instead concentrate on crushing green who is, of course, not in "their gang"
