Matchday 5:
Norfolk and Chance (ice) v Down Under United (iliad)
Red Stick Cajuns (LSU) v Redcar Royals (cena)
Emo United (sam) v Thunder Hawks (amino)
TWAT (lozz) v TR Clowns (JR)

Game 1
Norfolk and Chance (ice) v Down Under United (iliad)

Teams:
ice
Almunia 30
Finnan 31
Toure 27
Mascherano 33
Makelele 35
Gerrard 27
Rooney 22
Hriederson 33
Huth 23
Flynn 18
Eduardo 25

iliad:
Hart 20
Vidic 26
Agger 23
A. Young 22
Lampard 29
Giggs 34
Miller 28
Yobo 27
Malbranque 28
McGinley 18

Todays game is a vital one for Down Under United, after suffering their first defeat last week they couldnt afford another slip up with TWAT and todays opponents Norfolk and Chance hot on their heels. A victory for Norfolk would put them level on points with DDU and allow TWAT a chance to go top of the table with a win over TRC later.

Match Report:
From the very start of the game Norfolk and Chance went on the attack. This was a tactic used by TWAT in the FA cup final earlier this season and we all know how that went, it was a risk that Icedagger thought was worth taking and only time would tell whether it was a smart or a stupid move. On 16 mins they high pushing Norfolk got caught on the break. Agger cleared the ball long in behind the Norfolk defense, Ashley Young ran onto it at full pelt, surging away from the defense. He came through one on one with Almunia and he slotted it past the keeper, and into the net.
Norfolk and Chance 0 v 1 Down Under United

Norfolk pushed on further, with Gerrard and Rooney inter-linking well. It was their combination that created a chance on 37 mins. Gerrard played the ball inside to Rooney who played it back again with his first touch, Gerrard the dinked the ball into the box where Macherano diving headered it past the keeper.
Norfolk and Chance 1 v 1 Down Under United

Down Under United tried to respond straight away when Lampard, back today after injury, made a storming run through the Norfolk defense he opened a wide gap and then cut it across the face of the goal for Miller who struck his shot hard past Hart but wide of the goal.

As the sides went in at half time both teams will be reasonably happy, Norfolk have been the more attacking side and created more openings but Down Under United have looked deadly in front of goal and Norfolk will need to keep the ball well to avoid losing goals in the second half.

In the opening stages they did keep possesion well, andd found themselves in a decent position on the edge of the DDU box with Mascherano in possesion. In came the tackle from Vidic, who came away with the ball he then played it to Lampard who began the counter attack. He had Young to his left and Miller to his right, he decided on Miller who took the ball further up the pitch. As he came into the box Almunia advanced on him but he played it across the box towards Lampard who totally missed the ball! Young didnt however and he slotted it into the empty net.
Norfolk and Chance 1 v 2 Down Under United

Norfolk were in trouble now and their desperation showed as they flung men forward, this eventually got them a decent opening on 67 mins after a few missed half-chances. Makelele played it out wide to Gerrard who was pulled down from behind by Young, yellow card given andd a free-kick in a decent position. It was Rooney who took the freekick, he crossed it into the box and everyone missed it, including the keeper and the ball bounced into the net.
Norfolk and Chance 2 v 2 Down Under United

The next 20 mins continued in the same fashion with Norfolk on the attack and DDU trying to hit on the counter, as time slipped away Down Under United started to get frustrated and attack just as much as Norfolk and Chance. This created a chance 2 mins into injury time. Giggs ran the ball down into the corner and smacked the ball off of Finnan so it went out for a corner. Giggs took the corner himself and it swung into Vidic who headed the ball downwwards, it bounced up and over the keeper and onto the post. Toure blasted it clear and it fell to Rooney who had stayed up, he had so much space and he drove on up the pitch he went through on the keeper and hit it low and hard. Hart saved it, but it fell to the advancing Gerrard who had an empty net to finish it but he never missed. Norfolk and Chance 3 v 2 Down Under United

Norfolk and Chance 3 v 2 Down Under United
Mascherano 37`````````Young 16, 48
Rooney 67
Gerrard 90+2

Another loss for DDU, as Norfolk and Chance are now on the same number of points as them, illy your slipping :D .

Other games are coming but they will take just as long.

TWAT (lozz) v TR Clowns (JR)

Game 2
Red Stick Cajuns v Redcar Royals

Teams:

Reina 25
Ashley Cole 20
Clichy 22
Lucas 21
Alonso 26
C. Ronaldo 23
D. Bent 24
Hibbert 27
Kranjcar 23

Senderos 23
G. Neville 33
Babel 21
Joe Cole 26
Downing 23
Tevez 24
Carr 31
Arteta 26
Davies 31

Poor old Derby, I mean Gretna, I mean Redcar Royals. They are the whipping boys of the league, will today be any different? Red Stcik Cajuns on the other hand are coming off an impressive win over DDU and were looking forward to what should be a straight forward game.

Match Report:

The match started off in typical fashion, that is Redcar under the kosh. RSC pushed up and out-passed them relatively easily. However the first chance fell to the away side. On 19 mins Joe Cole played through Tevez who drove at Red Stick defenders. He skipped past one out musceled another and slammed the ball into the net for Redcar Royals first ever goal and a shock lead. Red Stick Cajuns 0 v 1 Redcar Royals.

Red Stick Cajuns were not dampened by this early goal and proceeded to control play as they had done so before. Not long after they went behind another piece of Ronaldo magic set up a chance for an equaliser. He recievd the ball on out wide left and he nutmegged Downing, he ran square across the park and then cut back past Joe Cole, he then bombed forward and just as Senderos came in for the takle he knocked it pas thim and collected the ball. He was now inside the box and he rocketed his shot which smashed off of the bar and was cleared.

Just before half time Redcar started to get a bit of possesion and move further up the field, unfortunately this left further holes in their defense for Red Stick to go through. Lucas played it inside to Alonso who slid through Bent. The 24 year old striker took one touch and placed his shot towards the bottom corner, he got his 3rd goal of the season and RSC were level. Red Stick Cajuns 1 v 1 Redcar Royals.

As the second half begun Redcar looked dejected and once again out of ideas. They resorted to fouling Red Stick and one of these fouls let to a good chance from a free kick. Ronaldo stepped over the ball for one of his trade mark free kicks he spun the ball round and over the wall, past the keeper and right into the top corner, great goal! Red Stick Cajuns 2 v 1 Redcar Royals.

It was looking like a typical game for RR as LSu's side cruised for the next half hour. On 80 mins they got a chance to extend their lead, Ronaldo played a one-two with Alonso that set him thorugh on goal. He struck his shot hard and accurately but Jaasklainen made a brilliant save only for Lucas to tap in the rebound. Red Stick Cajuns 3v 1 Redcar Royals.

RSC seen the game out fo another three points, the day started well for Redcar but ended in yet another loss, their staring relagation in the face and will need to make some major changes in the transfer window.

Red Stick Cajuns 3 v 1 Redcar Royals
D. Bent 45+1`````````Tevez 19
Ronaldo 50
Lucas 80

omg your taking the piss i started out writing match 3 again and I accidentily hit f5 and the page refreshed. :|

God doesnt want me to do this.

Im going to shorten both games, Im sorry for the delay this week due to the site messing up me being a TWAT (and not in the lozz way) and me having exams I just cant do this properly. I think what I need is some kind of order to this game so from now on:

Monday- Friday You send in your training Friday- Sunday i do the match reports. Its just not practical for me to do these games during the week, if I have time I will though.

Anywho:

Game 3

Match Report:
Emo United cotrol the game in the midfield area on 20 mins they create a chance when Fabregas plays a pass to Rosicky who dummies it, the ball ran through to Elano who put Torres through. His shot was well saved by Given

Emo contiued to play better but TH managed to get a chance against the run of play. The ball was hoofed up the park and flicked on by Berbatov. Denilson ran onto it and slotted it past the keeper but wide of the post.

On 39 mins another great piece of play led to a chance for Emo. Some nice play from Fabregas sent Rosicky through on goal, he played his shot towards the top corner but Given made a great save only for Torres to knock in the rebound.

Second half Emo started to die away slightly and TH came back into the game a little. However on 58 mins Emo managed to create a chance hitting Th on the break. Elano broke away and played in Torres who slipped in Rosicky. This time the Czeck republic international didnt miss he beat Given with a shot driven low to his left.

Emo became in control again and on 73 mins they got a chance to extend their lead further. Torres picked up the ball on the edge of the box and spotted the run of Fabregas, he slipped it through and Fabregas rounded Given he rolled the ball along the ground and nearly over the line, Dawson cleared it away off of the line.

Then each team recieved a blow as a challenge on Berbatov by Neill injured both players, Berbatov will miss 1 game and Niell will miss 2. Viduka came on for Berbatov and Todd replaced Niell.

On 82 mins TH managed to win themselves a corner, the ball was swung in and Dawson got up well and managed to put the ball past James and pull a goal back is there time for an equalser?

There was time but Thunder didnt have the skill Emo Uniteds midfield proved too strong for them and they won the game.

Emo United 2-1 Thunder Hawks

In todays game TWAT had a chance to go top of the league here today with a win over TRC, TRC however were looking to make up for some recent dips in form.

Match Report:
Match Report:
The game started off with TWAT attempting to be the agressors but not quite manging it, TRC were as usual attempting to just break up the play and move forward on occasion without trying too much. They were being moderately successful not alowing TWAT to control the game.

The first chance fell to the home side after 24 mins, Muntari played a cross field ball to Larsson who controlled it well and crossed the ball high into the air, Friedel came out to collect it however he completely missed the ball. It flew to the back post where Adebayor was waiting to tap the ball in, however a challenge came in form behind and brought him down. Penalty! It was taken by Adebayor, he put plenty of power in his shot hence why it managed to reach high up into the crowd.

The rest off the half passed without much incident a few chance arose for both sides but nothing major to talk about, for a more in depth look at this period of the match watch any Rangers game.

The second half looked much brighter for TWAT, they came out stronger and managed to fashion there a decent opportunity. Muntari whipped the ball into box and Adebayor got a free header just 10 yards out, his header was good and strong but Friedel managed to tip itonto the crossbar.

On 75 mins TRC started to pick up there game and as a result started to create chances. Carragher made a good run down the wing and cut it back for Barnes who hit it first time into the box, Shevchenko flicked it on at the near post and the ball looked like it was heading towards Hargreves free at the back post but Gallas got up well and cleared it. It only went as far as Flamin who hit a rocket of a shot towards goal, unfortunately for him Cech flew through the air and caught the ball.

The game ended with lozzinin very disapointed that his team failed to take all three points and take the top spot in the league. However it leaves us in a very exciting position with three teams tied on 9 points two teams on 8 points.

The Wierd Alternative Team 0-0 Transvestite Rodeo Clowns

League Table up in a sec, warning some of the above may seem slightly familiar
