Tubaman/hiiiaiiei [withdrawn]

Postby Lexitonia5 on Tue May 13, 2008 7:33 pm

I was suspicious of these two players but apparently they've been investigated and cleared twice so I withdrew my comments. The rest of the thread is rather comical at certains points.

Did you take a close look at the games? I don't think so. They play doubles games together. Of course they join in the same order and of course they play back to back. I think you owe them an apology.

Yes, they played 158 games together as doubles and 33 as non-double games (triples, etc.). It doesn't explain the time element. If I were going to cheat, I would definitely play team games over standards so noone thinks I'm cheating. It doesnt mean that someone isn't getting a free ride by setting up two accounts. That's not fair to the rest of us.

It's obvious that they know each other as they play so many games together. I'm sure they coordinate their attacks as you can see by their success. I'm sure that you did not notice that they played as teams as you did not note it in your accusation. It's probably a good idea to apologize as there is no evidence of cheating.

Yes, it is obvious that they know each other. They kill in freestyle games (118 to be exact) which would be real easy if you are sitting together in the same room. However, in my OPINION [emphasis added], they should at least give a heads up to the other team(s) so that it is known that they have an advantage over other players who may or may not even be on the same team with someone in even in the same country. Its called "courtesy."

I withdrew my complaint because the other post says they were cleared. That's all I feel I need to do aside from taking action to make sure I don't play them anymore.

Also, I see you've posted on this forum 79 times. Do you always represent the defendant, or have you prosecuted from time to time? Or, let me guess, someone acused you of some misreprsentation in the past that you were cleared of and now you have vowed to defend the innocent?

They owe noone a courtesy are you kidding that is the point of the team game. You sound like a really poor sport who is mad because you do not know how to coordinate for a team game. My best reccomendation for you is do not play team freestyle and stop talking down on people who are good at it....lol saying a team should announce they are smart enough to coordinate that is sad you would even state that lol...

Soloman is right on the money. To ask a team to announce that they are "better coordinated" before the game starts; is nothing short of asinine. Their ranks do that for them.

You are just grabbing at straws and are embarrassed because, let's admit it, you never noticed that they were playing in doubles games.

As to my previous postings; I do defend players that I think are being unjustly accused. However, I prosecute many more than I defend. If you would have paid a little more attention to the forum, you would have noticed that. You appear to have a problem with the details. Have a nice afternoon.

First of all, I'm not embarrassed about anything and since my team is more than likely going to win the one and only game we are involved in with these two players, I'm not as dumb as you may think. I also know how to use proper grammar when typing text, Soloman, a lesson you may want to learn so people take you more seriously when you comment on other people's posts. I play the game just fine.

Second, Cisco2001, I didn't read your posts nor will I. That is why I asked the question. And yes I did notice they were playing team games, not that I feel I need to prove that you to you. I thought it looked suspicious and, guess what, I still do.

My concern is that a player who is playing on here for free may be taking advantage of the system by having two accounts. I didn't lose to these people unfairly so I'm not complaining for that reason. I was simply pointing out that even though their strategy is a sound one, it may cause them, as it has already, to be accused of being one person with a multiple account or cheating because they sign on and make their moves so close together. I am sorry that neither one of you is understanding that, but you need to move on to someone else's thread now. I'm done.

Also, I see you've posted on this forum 79 times. Do you always represent the defendant, or have you prosecuted from time to time?

And then you say:

Which one was it? You read enough of one post to determine that I was defending a player accused of cheating. Then, you state that you didn't read my posts.

Obviously, attention to detail is not your strong point. I responded to your post because the accusation was unfounded and supported by no evidence. I suggested that you apologize to them as you could not support, in any way, your accusations. Since you have withdrawn your accusation, then an apology is due to the players you accused.

Personally, I think that if you're willing to sling mud then you should be willing to clean it up. It takes a lot of courage to apologize.

The sampling of the posts I read from you clearly show that you didn't agree with accusors and thus you defended the accused. Unlike yourself, I don't have the time to read 79 posts from one individual. You seem to spend a lot of time on here trying to discredit accusations. You speak as if you are correct just because you don't agree. You should really lower your opinion of yourself because its much higher than it should be. Let me say once again, and I hope you are listening: I am still uncomfortable with the tactics used by these two players. I was not the first one to bring this issue to light and I'm sure I won't be the last. I withdrew my accusation because I felt that two investigations of their accounts verified that they are acting within the parameters of the rules of this site. There is no need for me to ask for a third investigation. This does not mean, however, that I agree with how they play. In my opinion, their tactics are such that they cause other players, aside from myself I might remind you, to raise questions about their integrity. For this reason, I do not believe that I owe anyone an apology. I took steps to add them to my ignore list so I won't engage them anymore. Nor will I be engaging you any further. I am sure if you wait a week, some one else will post some questionable comments about how these two play and you can come to their defense once again. Good luck with that. Have a nice life. Good bye.

It takes a big man to admit that he is wrong. I'm sure that you feel a whole lot better. Now that you have learned your lesson about accusing somebody without proof, I'm certain that you'll be checking your homework a little more carefully.

I don't always agree with players tactics and I have the right to enact the "foes" block so I no loner have to play with them. You have done the same with these two and now it's all over. All's well that ends well.

Yes, you are correct it does take a "big man" to admit when one is wrong; however, I'm not a man. And I'm not admitting I'm wrong about anything either. I did check my homework. I reviewed the facts. I was not comfortable with what I found. You came to a different conclusion. That doesn't make me wrong.

Sorry about calling you a man.

Yes it does there is a whole thread devoted to team games in general in regards to babysitting but sadly people like you are the reason it is having such a hard time due to your lack of concept on the nature of TEAM games...
