Feedback abuse, El Capitan X [Warned]

Postby ParadiceCity9 on Sun May 04, 2008 2:14 pm

I didn't know where to put this. http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=2364925 in that game the guy said he'd give me positive feedback if i left him some. He gave me one, i didn't give him any because that would be encouraging fishing for feedback. I see my games today and he'd taken the feedback away. Should this be allowed?

 Does he think this is freaking e-bay? More importantly, does he think anyone gives a rat's ass about the number on the left side of the dash in your feedback.

"Great player, played a great game. Wow, did I say how great this guy was? Somehow the word great comes to mind when I see their name. Gee, how great."

I think feedback is great.

All kidding aside, I'd be lying if I didn't hope to see my positive number go up one after I won a tough game or pulled off a particularly good move to win. I guess it means that somebody else realized it as well. However, I do feel a tad uncomfortable when somebody lobs me a meaningless "compliment" obviously looking for me to reciprocate. I mean, it's not that the world couldn't use a few more good vibes but seriously.
