it's a trilogy taking please in a fantasy realm. each episode has it's own story and unique gameplay. :D

It's been a while since I've looked at this map, and it looks heaps better than I remember!

Just a couple of comments:

1) On the legend, should Orcs, Humans, Lyches etc, be spelt with capital letters?

2) I'm sure I mentioned this ages ago - the +2 for holding Castle/Sanctuary + Power Rune... Is this per rune, or per pair of runes? It just seems a little unclear...

3) Could you have a boat trapped in ice near Mua, and possibly another one on fire near Boron?

That's about it for now...

1) i like it like that to better emphasise the races
2) it's per rune otherwise it would say Castle/Sanctuary + Power Rune Pair
3) nice i like such tiny details. will add as soon as possible. but i can't guarantee the fire one chances are it will be very hard to spot the fire.

Dim...from a colour perspective i think this is an unmitigated disaster. Will you change it please to somehting more pleasing to the eye...that would still depict the world of mayhem.

ok, qwert, change the graphics and stop blinding us with the horrible image you have now. god damnit take a look at your other maps and compare them to this one. you have talent and can create something much better instead of running around the forum bitching that nobody visits your map.
If you ask this of qwert, i'm going to ask it of you in mayhem. Because i think you mayhem is shocking.
True to form then!
Unfortunately, i do think that about your colour scheme, i just hadn't bothered (until now) to express it.

1) I'm not sure whether you've just said you prefer them in lowercase, or as Proper Nouns
2) That's good - I just wanted to make sure.
3) I thought you'd like that one ;-)

and i will answer using qwert's words:

i have mine style

Children - take a step back - count to ten... and relax...

Right - I can see Cairns' point - the map is an eyesore... at first glance it looks like something I vomitted after drinking aftershock!

But once you get over that - and it might take a little while - and you look closer all the little details start to show through and the graphics really do start to shine... I like it - but perhaps you need a warning "Only play this map on an empty stomach and not when drinking!" :P  :P

yeti, stop vomiting and get on with the xml.

as for the graphics i agree they are something different to say the least. they are very intensive and if i may be allowed to make a musical analogy they are like a rave fan doped on extasy whereas for example the italy map is a 60 year old lord listening to schubert.

also it's worth mentioning i have given up on a lot of the innitial graphics and changed borders colours textures and made the map darker all to sooth the eye of people. but there's no chance i'm gonna turn this into mozart (unless we're talking about a new age mozart with pink spikes instead of hair, wearing chains and leather jacket and riding a harley while listening to apocalyptica)

yeah i don't see an issue with the color. The map is a bit busy, slightly garish and suffers from acute seperation anxiety, but that fits the mayhem theme of the whole thing. No one should want their mayhem served in an cherry wood bento box. It's also ten times better than pre V9 versions so count your blessings people.

OK - before I do the XML here's some questions...

a) Castle/Sanctuary + Power runes. Does this mean all power runes - or just the specific ones to that castle?
b) Each Blood Water +1. Does this mean just for that territory? Or if you hold the Sanctuary? And it's an "in hand" bonus - not deploy.

just like in the other chapters where a resource counted for all castles, here the runes bonus is available for all castles.
as for the blood waters it is an "in hand bonus" just like the runes. one thing i forgot is that you need to hold the sanctuary or castle.

will update asap to write like this:

castle/sanctuary + blood water = +1

I assumed it would be - but wanted to make sure that you didn't want to tie the runes to the castles in this one. (Which could work)
