I personally have a sneeking suspicion that jay_a2j likes to get people going...myself included...and is sitting back and laughing at all of us \:D/

You could say that Caleb but it's not really accurate.

Jay seems to choose trusting in his God over the doomsday prophets. I know the things Jay talks about seem kind of the same to some here including you, but I don't feel the smugness factor when he posts.

Jay's posts reflect a higher degree of knowing the "repent or you're gonna to get it when the comet comes to wipe out your kind." types are only trying to stir division in his religion and cause chaos in society through fear.

He seems to be attempting to force his beliefs on others with reason instead of veiled threats. Regardless of wether or not I think there's a flaw or two, even if something he states is wrong, it's more often reason none the less.

Maybe I just read too much into your whole,
"They're commin' to git us! Man your stations. Prepare for ARMAGEDON!!!"
style of combative christianity. You might not even have guns and a compound yet.
It's not that I'm completely against religion, I just don't like it or see the point of forcing any belief right or wrong on others by use of fear and/or violence. If Jay warns me "You need Jesus to avoid hell." fine, I may even fear that. However it's a far cry from. "Run for the hills the comet is going to pour out Gods wrath on you." that's intentionally trying to scare naive people into somthing.

If there's two people debating something and one is yelling the quiet one is probably right. When you're right there's no need to get emotional about it. Rather than having to force your opinion, you can just relax and be right, being wrong might be it's own punishment.

ie. You say to a guy " pardon me but you shouldn't use that saw with no guard." If the guy flips out and yells "DON'T TELL ME HOW TO USE A SAW YOU FAGGOT! I KNOW HOW TO DO THIS!" You can just leave him to it, later if something happens it won't be your problem that he needs two hands to order five beers. He might not even have an accident. I don't see the point in shoving his hand in to the blade of the saw, intentionally cutting it off just to show him what might happen.

Don't worry about me though, I don't feel threatened by that kind of group. In fact if you like you can hunt me down like the dog that I am and send me to meet my maker, I'm ready.

I more feel a kind of pity for you, it appears you're living your life with anger in a fear of people and events filled maner while you claim to worship the "prince of peace".

Maybe you just need to grow out of it. Like those great prophets 'Aerosmith' sang in their prophetic end times song 'Amazing,'

"life's a journey not a destination."

Woops I accidentally voted "no".

Either way I don't think it particularly makes a difference... wind up merchant or no he posts here and that's the only jay we get to see ;)

Did you by any chance drink a medium size bottle of whiskey about an hour before you posted that?
