three spots for Round 1 and

April 26, 2008Minor changes are in consideration. Details will be announced in this topic as well as through PM once a decision has been reached. These changes are intended to make the tournament more enjoyable. I expect a decision to be reached at some point during the day on April 26, 2008.

Defense DivisionOn the brink of a large attack from a neighboring country, wars have broken amongst you and your immediate neighbors. Disputes over course of action and who will take charge of the defense of your nation is holding you and your neighbors alike from being able to fight at your full potential.
You must solve these differences and coordinate a defense quickly before the invading country attacks. Will there be enough time to prepare for the assault? Or will you fall to foreign rule? Only you can make the choice.
Round 1- Preparations for WarMap: The map you register for below.

Time Limit: 12 Rounds*Success in the first three games will be based on a point system.
First by defeating all other opponents - 5 points First - 4 Points Second - 3 Points Third - 2 points Fourth - 1 point and
Fifth - 0 Points
*A time limit will be implemented. The winner of the round will be determined at the end of round 12 by using BOB's strength rankings which takes into consideration: Number of armies, Territories, Bonuses, and Deterred Armies. The person with the highest ranking will be determined the winner and will receive four points.Since diplomacy failed, war ravaged your people and decimated your fighting force. Your people's battle for control left you weakened for the invasion that was about to come. The war came and you lost. All your people were killed and your village burnt to the ground and you died also - The End (Just Kidding). You take a survey of your people's remaining numbers and the report showed that you were greatly out manned in comparison to the force to come. To rectify the situation you go to the member of your clan that you admire most and request an alliance so that you both may continue as a nation. Soon after you have secured your new alliance, your will to survive and work together is tested.
Round 2 - The DefenseMap: The map you have been fighting to unite

Game Type: Doubles (You partner is the person you chose to aid you)
Play Order: Sequential

Fortifications: Unlimited
Fog of War: None
If the winner comes to be, the attackers than you have failed to uphold your way of life and all that you worked hard to built. Your village was pillaged and burnt to the ground but all hope is not lost. If you have not defeated than congratulations you survived. Either way, it is now time for your revenge. You really want to make the people pay for having the audacity to come to your homelands. You want power though you do not have much considering you that your army now has been in two costly battles. You turn for help from another one of your people groups in your nation and you take it to them.
Round 3 - RevengeMap: The invaders home map
Number of Players: 6
Game Type: Triples (Your previous alliance now combined with another person from your first game)*
Play Order: Sequential
Bonus Cards: None
Fortifications: Unlimited
Fog of War: None
*The third member you choose to have join your alliance must be agreed upon by the original two players. To demonstrate that such an agreement has been decided each member of the original alliance will message me with their country's name and the name of the player they wish to join the alliance. If no agreement is reached in a days time than the next point leader will be appointed to serve as the third team member.
If your invasion failed than at least you have saved your people and now have grown closer to the other people groups in your nation. You can now live to fight the other nation some other day.
If your invasion was successful than congratulations on enduring so much to achieve victory, your people are now safe. You have made it. Well done.
No matter the outcome, You may advance to Round 4.
Round 4 - ExpansionMap: The map will be the three other maps you have not yet played on in the Attackers Division.

Expansion comes to all great nations. You are now one of them through internal strife and invading armies you prevailed to embark on a new leg of your nation's history. Go to the nations of the world and make your mark in their history.
