Preface:
The Year is 2043, in the aftermath of the 3rd world war. The nuclear detonations have left several regions barren and deserted. Man kind has regressed to a nearly medieval level, with the weapons of the old world being prized above all else. The countries' governments have dissolved into loose nations and tribes. 8 of these nations attempt to restructure the old ways and reform the glory of civilization.
Round One,
In the Sahara desert the Algerian Tribes led by Cheif Kenne attempt to unite all other tribes. They use their numbers to fight any who oppose them. On April 23rd they take Morocco and only a month later they take Guineas. The Algerians take control of all sea trade in that region.
In the South Africa, a noble known as Sir Lucas begins to spread the word of unification to the neighboring states. He gathers many peoples to him but tries to maintain peaceful terms for now. He declares his rule over South Africa May 18th.
In Germany, along the same time, a man known only as Schux takes control of what ever was left of the government there, he rallies an army and begins to pick up the left overs of Europe. Many see this as a terrifying repeat of Nazi Germany of WWII but none have the strength to resist.
On July 15th a man named Edward takes control of nearly all the remaining industries that run along the South Western Atlantic coast. With these he becomes very rich and influential and begins to build an army to defend the provinces he has claimed.
The Nigerian Tribes begin to challenge the united Algerians, the two forces avoid each other for the moment but it remains to be seen if they will work out their differences or go to full out war with each other.
The self proclaimed King of Iceland begins training greater numbers of his people for the defense of his realm. Fearing the German advances in Europe and the Raiders of Scandinavia to the East.
The peoples Republic of China rises once again, Lord Snogu declares himself emperor of the Far East and begin taking lands into his dominion.
Round Two,
2045, Deeming the time right, the King of Iceland unleashes his armies. Striking at Scandinavia and the unorganized Raiders. They are swept aside by the long restrained fury of the Icelanders that has now been released.
February 3rd, Edward finally unites the nations of the South Western Atlantic coast into one Country, named La Plata. However the ports of North Eastern Brazil still remain under rebel control, those ports which secure trade and transport to the African continent.
June 15th, the South Africans begins their unification mission and takes the island of Madagascar. Sir Lucas continues his conquest but is halted by a Rebel fortification at Angola.
Having been hired by the Nigerians, the Rebels launch their fleet from Brazil and set sail for the Algerian ports of Guineas. After weeks of fighting the ports are taken. The first War of the Tribes has been declared.
Schux, now emperor of Europe begins his campaign. An army lands at Greece and moves north to take the Ukrainian capital. However the German forces only succeed in overthrowing the Ukrainian leaders at the cost of many troops. With the lack of man power, equipment and the harsh winter arriving, the campaign goes no further than Ukraine.
Round Three,
Lord Snogu continues to spread his rule, China begins to take all nations on the West of the pacific.
Some of the African tribes are chased out of the Sahara regions by the fighting there. They are called the Exiles. They move into Eastern Africa and claim it by 2050.
Sir Lucas completes his unification of all South African nations. But he must now move his armies to meet the possible threat that the Exiles pose at his Northern border.
The War of the Tribes begins to incline onto the Nigerian's side. They are less organized than the forces of the Algerians but have superior numbers and their will is unmatched.
Most of Western Europe has fallen under German rule by 2054. Only Britain holds out against both the Icelanders to the North and the Germans to the South.
The Icelanders however are not interested in Britain. The quickly mobilize a fleet and send it to Canada, where they've learned a great deal of resources still reside. Most of the surviving Canadians are swept aside by their military might,
Round Four,
2055, Not satisfied with his monopoly over the Atlantic industries, Edward (having long since declared himself president of La Plata) orders that an Army of the People be trained. He then uses this army to cross the Chilean Mountains and conquer the Western coast of South America. He also manages to take the ports of Brazil from the rebels who have left it undefended.
The South African armies invade Kenya on October 12th 2055. The Exile troops are defeated and Sir Lucas secures a resounding victory.
December 3rd, Hawaii attacks Mexico suddenly and steal all of their Tequila (lol, sorry I had to. It's still funny.)
Emperor Schux attempts an invasion of Britain but is met with failure, the German Fleet of ships causing little harm to the English defenders.
Exiles manage to spark a revolt upon the Southern Forces. The counter attack is devastating and the rebels and Exiles move deep into Lucas's territory. They are however stopped at the Capitol city in Zimbabwe.
Republic of China invades India, diminishing the remaining Indian armies. They then leave the country in ruins, the people there now living in chaos.
2056, King Spit of Iceland has claimed most of Canada and now controls the Northern parts of the Atlantic, the fishing industries there increase the wealth of Iceland greatly. On March 11th he declares himself ruler of the North Atlantic Empire.
The Nigerians successfully crush the Algerians. All their remaining forces are thrown out of the Sahara region or eliminated. While some consider it genocide, others see it as a profound victory for the Nigerians.
The Australians choose to unite under a common rule, they defeat all others who had staked a claim on their lands and rebuild their government, now a democratic council of the people.
Round Five:
2062, the Republic of China return to India and finish in crushing the people, establishing the remaining territory as a Chinese colony.
The Nigerians fear that the Exiles will become a threat if they take the South territories of Africa and so the Nigerian army attacks the Eastern African Exile states.
Lord Lucas, with the aid of the Nigerians, attempts to crush the last of the Exiles in Africa. In all South African cities, the law states that any Exiles are to be imprisoned or shot.
The Australians begin exploring routes across the Antarctic, perhaps as possible missile launch sites or as secure routes into Africa and South America.
Emperor Schux finally destroys the British Navy and invades England. He unveils his plans to unite the rest of Europe.
Having claimed all the southern nations of the continent, President Edward begins moving his armies north. Fearing that the Nigerians growing power will be a threat to the La Plata nation, he initiates a preemptive strike on the ports of Guineas.
Refusing to give up the fight, Exiles attack and take several cities in Sudan, attempting to disrupt the South Americans in any way that they can.
By 2069, the North Atlantic Empire has settled Canada with so many colonists that they outnumber the true Icelanders. A difficult decision is made on February 3rd 2070 but is voted on thanks to the superior numbers of the colonists. The decision is that the capital will be moved into what was once Ontario (now called Upper Canada.) In addition, the North Atlantians also begin plans to take the rest of the North America by building several bases in the British Colombia region.
Round Six,
2070, Emperor Shux of Germanic ruled Europe sees the opportunity in the now weakened Northern states of Europe. On March 26th, he raises his armies and fleets and strikes at Iceland and several villages along the coast in Norway. He takes the former Iceland capitol and turns it into a military base.
North Atlantic troops stumble upon a secret bunker of tactical nuclear weapons during an excursion into the Former United States, which is now run by Highway men and dispersed city-states. Many see this as a chance to strike back at the Germans but the government decides that Iceland is now lost and leave it that way. Instead they use the new weapons to whipe out all resistance to them in the United States and claim nearly all of North America. They are only stopped once they face the Mexican borders.
Lord Lucas continues to fight the Exiles in Eastern Africa, still unable to fully exterminate them yet.
The Chinese on their end continue their expanse and begin a mission to unite all of Asia under their rule. A feat not attempted since the great Genghis Khan.
The Nigerians, seeing a new enemy to the South leave the Exiles to the South Africans while they retake the ports and begin building a war fleet to rival that of the South Americans.
Meanwhile, the Exiles begin to suspect that they will not win this war with the South Africans, even with the Nigerians distracted. They move north, into the Middle East, hoping to escape the wrath of Lord Lucas.
By 2073, and after several conflicts with other smaller nations, Edward has fully united all of South America, which becomes an Empire with La Plata as it's capital state.
The Australians unveil a large fleet of ships intended to protect the their boarders from any and all aggressive attempts agains't their nation.
Round Seven,
Lord Lucas eagerly takes control of all the East African states that the Exiles abandoned. Not only that but he also moves onto Nigerian soil, attacking ports in the home state of Nigeria.
Greatly angered by this, the Nigerians move their army to retake the port cities and continue into South African territory, taking several settlements in Sudan and even a few cities in Congo.
North Atlanteans, now members of the North American Empire, continue their conquest of the continent. They face mostly unorganized villages and communities and do not stop until they arrive at the fortified borders of Colombia, the entry way into the South American Empire.
By 2075, Schux finishes taking Scandinavia, all surviving Icelanders now settle into North America.
Using the new Australian Navy, the Aussies take all the great islands that line their eastern coast into their control, from New Zealand up to Irian Jaya and even Sulawesi. Several La Plata companies had settled there for economic purposes and plead for help from the home country, but no ships are sent to help.
The Chinese continue their expansion unchallenged. But on April 28th, they arrive at the European border, which makes them hesitate to continue.
President Edward orders the Antarctican continent to the South of his realm be explored and properly based. The teams meet the Australians but the two generally avoid each other.
Round Eight,
Lord Lucas manages to push back the Nigerians, but they continue their attacks and take the freshly conquered states to the East that had belonged to the Exiles.
A certain Sumatran lord named Jomral, had begun gaining much popularity over the surviving government in Sumatra. He manages to unite the spare factions of the former country and raises a Fleet of ships with which he attacks several Australian island colonies as well as several coastal port-cities.
The North Americans grow worried of the growing power of the Chinese. They send ships to re-man the now abandoned base on Pearl Harbor and begin monitoring the Asian cities from afar.
The Chinese, taking this as a possible preparation for a preemptive strike upon their soil gather their forces and initiate their own preemptive. Their troops land on Alaska and begin marching down the west coast of the continent pillaging every city town or village they find.
The Aussies counter the Sumatran attack with their own fleet and a large battle is fought in the Pacific around Australia.
Emperor Schux orders that the Chinese be attacked while they are busy with the North Americans. He invades the western boarder of Russia and takes Moskow.
Round Nine,
The final La Plata companies are destroyed in 2077 by the fighting between Australia and Sumatra. Diplomatic relations with that region of the world are cut off. These events cause some tension between the bases in Antarctica but they remain on peaceful terms for the moment.
The Nigerians continue the fighting in Eastern Africa and Congo. They also launch a wide scale attack on South America, using long range missiles to bypass the La Plata fleet and devastate the South American coast. The month of this attack is known after as Dark September, due to the long aftereffects.
Several more ships are ordered up from the Argentinian ports to assist in the battle with the Nigerians. Both fleets engage in massive battles in an attempt to control the ports of Guineas and Brazil.
The Exiles still try to secure a place in the Middle East, finding it hard to survive in the brutal conditions.
The North Americans counter attack and retake their western coast. They do not however take back Pearl Harbor, hoping this restraint will dissuade the Chinese from attacking them further.
The Chinese invade Germania (New Europe), moving deep into both Scandinavia and Eastern Europe up to Poland. Emperor Schux attempts to counter attack, but suffers several crushing defeats at the highly trained invaders. Their entire Eastern front remains under Chinese occupation for several months.
Round Ten,
The Nigerians suffer heavy losses in their war with La Plata. Their Fleet Headquarters is bombed in an air-strike and most of their fleet is destroyed or scattered. They retreat inland, out of range of the La Platan battleships.
The Exiles are attacked by the Chinese in the Middle East. All of their cities and armies are located and destroyed by the Chinese troops. None are believed to have escaped.
{Historical Event}
The last leaders of The Exiles are eliminated, they go underground and are not heard of again for many years.
South Africans successfully retake the Eastern African states and begins to secure it's borders once again from the Nigerians assaults.
North Americans fire a missile strike at Russia from Alaska, hoping to deter anymore attacks from that border.
