I disagree with that. Unless a Vig has a pretty good idea who is scum, it's not a good idea. Most of the games I've been in, the Vig completely screws the town by killing off town power roles. Since no one has claimed vanilla yet, I'm betting there are mostly power roles in this game, and haphazardly killing them off does nothing but hurt the town.

my combination of subing and not posting is a bit of being away for a few days, but primarily more because i dont have a role in which case i can be of a whole lot of value throwing my weight around. I just dont have access to information that would be able to turn the game around, therefore i try to stay a bit more out of the way.

For what its worth, ive always thought wicked was suspicious, but this is as much a thing that just is so its not all that relavant. Theres just not a whole lot ill be able to do going forward that would be overly helpful to town.

My only value to the town is in the night phase and that assumes i dont screw things up.

Sao Feng - elite bodyguard that nagerous is not a town role. Essentially if i protect someone and they are attacked, the attacker and i would both be dead. given the fact that nag was pretty out there from day 1, i have protected him every night, only sort of half paying attention to the game. It seems unlikely that no one would have targeted him given the amount of discussion he was involved in. Even some kind of sk could have gone after him, in which case he would be dead.

However this hasnt happened. certainly he could have just been lucky, but even if a doc was protecting him as well, someone would have died if there was an attack. So that should in theory discount a mafia doc even protecting him if a vig shot at him, which apparently a vig hasnt.

It seems like all game long there has been a sort of play back and forth between wicked and nag. Especially on day 1 it seems like fir, wicked, and nag do a dance between playing back and forth tryign to get fir and stepping away when things finally become close. Furthermore, no one has bought more into nags townliness than wicked.

If i stay alive through the day i will protect our vig.

Hmm... I do believe Tonka's role, just not his assessment of the situation. Scum wouldn't have attacked Nag b/c it was obvious to all the doc would protect him. The fact that the doc was inactive really has no bearing b/c the scum wouldn't know that. The only thing I can think of is the scum didn't send in a kill. With the number of inactive/replaced players in this game, that seems a fair assumption.

Now, does both a bodyguard and a doc seem a bit unbalanced to anyone else? *glances towards Iliad* Perhaps one of these roles is a mafia version, i.e. mafia doc, mafia bodyguard.

I think thats why the doc thing sorts itself out....if things are as i lay them out, the doc thing sort of fits in, its certainly not the only scenario, but i think is a pretty reasonable one amongst possiblities.

I think it just seems possible that you have a case of a mafia doc, which would resolve the fact that there was no scum target, even though its all a bit of a moot point if nag is scum...cause there would be no need for there to be an attack.

I just think it seems like the way your premising this will eliminate the possiblity of nag being scum, when if he is, it does the town a pretty big wrong.

Especially if hes an investigator, its seems likely that as an independent, someone would take a swing at him. As a third party or a scum, just because someone is likely to be protected, doesnt mean they are going to be for sure so i dont know that i would take it for granted that he never would have been kill targetd...especially on a night one, where hes a viable target.
