If so, when one sweeps a game and is the only to have eliminated anyone does someone still come in second? Is it just a matter of when one is eliminated as to what place they came in, first gone is 6th second gone is 5th? Finally, if it is a matter of elimination why is it terminator?

Good questions!
No, it does not matter how many people you eliminate for points in this tournament, the place in which you finish in each game is the only points awarded for the tournament, and your place is determined simply by the position you are eliminated in. If all players are eliminated in one turn, the first player to be eliminated will be considered to be 6th place, and so on.
The games are terminator games because in each division it will not be difficult to tell which players will be moving on as the games progress, and I prefer everyone continue the games - the terminator style allows for players who realize they will not be moving to the next round to still have incentive to play each game until it is completed.

This being said, Hvard deadbeat but he was eliminated after me in a game, does this mean I came in 5th (because he deadbeat) or 6th (because he died after I did)....I will probably advance anyways (won2, second once, third twice) but felt I should ask....My division was extremely competitive and a few points will make a huge difference as to who advances
