I think you should shrink your signature area so it doesn't drape down over the green of the Missile Launch region.

I have no further concerns excpet that the large may be a little bigger than it needs to.

I have updated the thread title and will shrink the large map.

750x750 sound good for the large (currently 800x800)?

I didn't mean to say that it was in a bad spot. I would just suggest shortening the box to not cover the launch area.

could you increase the glow for the russian bunkers on the large map? especially bunker 2 is pretty hard to see.
just for the large. small has enough glow.

also i know you have your own sig image but it would look so much better if both names were in the same font as mibi. as i doubt that small printing thing can actually print graffiti :P

I agree with DiM that your signature looks a little bit out of place... Perhaps you could dot-matrix it or something???

My other thought is that the Spy/Silo icons aren't next to the descriptive text on the legend. I don't think it's an issue, but it's bound to confuse some people. I'm not sure what you'd do about it though, as there isn't really any space left...

I will be looking to move the sigs somewhere else. Then I can make the title better too. (i never liked it in its current form)

I understand the desire to have me change the WM (ambagram) style but it is something that I want to keep on all my maps.

After all it is my signature.

Alright, I've called in a drive-by to see where this map is at.

Before I can fully wrap my brain around the gameplay, could you put the relevant info in one post? I've read the first post (which is where I hope and expect to find gameplay info) but it is clear that things have changed a but since that was written. The legend clears up most items, but I'd like to know the total number of territories and the location and value of starting neutrals.

One concern I have right off the bat: "target acquisition" is a bit confusing. My sense is that the territory is supposed to represent some technology that allows you to target the enemy and thus launch a nuclear attack, but the graphics suggest that it is, itself, the target rather than a targeting computer or satellite.

Hmm... what about making it the targeting satellite? You could hit the US Satellite from Denver (NORAD), which is who should be controlling such a thing anyway and make it a one-way strike. The Russian equivalent would be the Strategic Rocket Forces (RVSN), about which I couldn't tell you where the heck is was located.

Another alternative would be to cal them "Missle Tracking Stations" and use some kind of radar graphic. And I woud them up north, which is where missile tracking would've actually happened since Soviet missle attacks on the USA and vice-versa probably would've been via a polar route rather than across the Pacific. I would be surprised if the good people of Astoria, Oregon would have had much to do with the path of our cold war nuclear arsenal. :)

OK I have divided your questions up into pieces and placed numbers in your post I am quoting.

1) OK
# of territories = 60
Starting Player Territories
-Each country has 9 cities (green and orange glow army circles) (9*2)=18

Territories Starting with 2 neutral armies
-Each missile has 5 stages, the warhead and the missile launch (7*2)=14 for both missiles

    -4 spies
    -2 target acquisitions
    -4 bunkers
    -2 presidents
    -6 uranium
    -4 silos
    -6 scientists

    18+14+4+2+4+2+6+4+6=60

2) You are correct...
represent some technology that allows you to target the enemy and thus launch a nuclear attack

How about if we call the territory, launch codes? That way everyone understands that the territory represents the critical information that allows the president to activate the missile?

So....
Target Acquisition changes to Launch Codes

Let me know if you need any more info.

Yep Miissile will be fixed.

Since warhead is a territory, I also see that the +25 bonus might be hard to understand as well.

Currently it says
Launch Code + President + Warhead = 25.

But it really should say
Launch Code + President + Entire Missile = 25

I will fix these two issues next cleanup after the gameplay is looked over by oaktown.
