Expand Your Control [19/80]
Posted: Fri Jun 05, 2009 3:46 pm
It started out as a simple game, that's all.
It turned into the domination of outer space.
Starting from a petty board game, expand your control across the rounds -- from board to building to city to country to region to continent to the entire globe... then to control of the solar system.

In this tournament, no one is eliminated. That means you will be required to play in every single round, no matter how poorly you do, and no matter how long the tournament runs. Keep this in mind before signing up.
In each round, the winner in each game is awarded a certain number of points. The person who has the most points at the end of the tournament is declared the winner. If there is a tie at the end, there will be a playoff to determine the champion.
Each round will feature several different maps, though individual players will only play on one map per round. You may indicate preferences in your signup post -- in fact it's preferred -- but those preferences will not guarantee you a spot on a desired map. It's basically first come, first serve. So check the schedule to make sure the map you want in a certain round isn't full up -- if you choose a map that's full or don't list a preference, I'll assign you completely at random.
Following is a description of each round. Next to the titles of the maps is the number of games on that map which will be in the round they appear. For instance, there will be three different games on the Chinese Checkers map in round one. Remember though that you will only be playing in one game on one map per round.
