I can't tell you everything you can expect since the story will unfold as the tourney progresses, but here's the intro to it:
Nine days ago at 0200 hours, several dozen people in a movie theater in San Francisco mysteriously disappeared, with little hint as to what became of them. All that investigators had to work on was blood that was splattered all over inside the theater and the fact that the cars of the missing persons were still intact in the parking lot.
Six days ago at 0800 hours, a bus that supposedly was carrying 40-50 people to a reunion was found 20 feet off the road a few miles from the blood splattered theater. None of the people were found anywhere nearby, and the scene was very familiar to the one 3 days earlier. Investigators reported that they did discover three mauled carcasses of what they claimed were once dogs, although the DNA tests to verify this may take a while.
Four days ago at 0100 hours, multiple reports of humans violently attacking other humans were received by the San Francisco Police Department. Three fourths of the officers on duty were sent out to quell these attacks and save the victims if possible. Between 0115 and 0305, all contact with the officers was lost. At 0800, when none of the officers returned, the mayor of San Francisco made a city-wide emergency to the citizens of San Francisco and told everyone to stay indoors and board up if possible. Reports of attacks continued to flow in to the police nevertheless. However, there were hardly any able officers left in the city and those still remaining were at home as ordered by the mayor. The attacks continued.
Three days ago, the governor of California (under orders of Congress and the President of the United States) issued a quarantine of the city of San Francisco trapping inside all those that were still alive. 550 U.S. Militia were deployed to keep things under control.
Yesterday at 0400 hours, all contact was lost with those inside the quarantine zone. The power in the city was cut and the phone calls to the quarantine HQ failed.
SO...... as is stands, little is known about the mysterious events that took place in San Francisco and it will most likely stay that way unless a trained team of commandos can successfully go in and investigate what happened.
The U.S. government is putting together just that kind of team to do just that kind of job. In fact, they put together SIX teams to do the job! Do you think you have what it takes to investigate the OUTBREAK?
