Race to the Finish (Round 5)
Posted: Wed Dec 03, 2008 12:49 amIn this tournament, everyone has to get a certain amount of points to win. Everytime you win a game you get 3 points. Everytime you come in second in a game you lose 1 point. Everytime you lose a game you lose 2 points. We will play to 50 points. Each game will be Standard, Sequential, Flat Rate, Unlimited, Sunny and three player FFA. Maps will be decided by popular vote. Each person has to choose three maps with priority. If no map is decided on by majority vote, then the map to be played will be the underdog's (person with the least amount of points) first choice. Example signup form:
Each round will consist of 10 games, which means I will need 30 players. The tournament will only end when there are 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed players. (As soon as the 1st player crosses the finish line the two players in last will also stop playing to make it so that there is always the same amount of players in each game. The same goes for when the 2nd place finishes.) If there is a tie there will be a tie breaker. The first round's games will be decided by the order of signup. But after the first, the people in 1st, 2nd and 3rd will play together 4th, 5th and 6th, etc. I hope you have fun racing to the finish.
