This tournament is going to be different then any tournament that you have ever been in. This will challenge you and challenge your team. How will it end for you?
Ultimately, you are playing for just you. How this tournament is going to happen is like this. You have to read carefully and pay attention, it may get confusing. There will be 16 players. In round one there will be 4 groups. Round 2 there will be 2 groups and Round 3 will be 4 players, then there will be the final round (Ill go in more detail about every round later). This is where the twist is. In every round there will be 3 games. Rounds 1,2 and 3 will be double games. The last round will be 1 vs. 1. In the first round, as i said, there are 3 games. In each game, you will have a different partner from your group.
So, lets say player A, B, C and D joins the tournament and they are in the same group. In the first round, these will be the games. Game 1: Player A and player B vs. Player C and player D. Game 2: Player A and player C Vs. Player B and player D. Game 3: Player A and Player D vs. Player B and player C.
So that is a typical round. Every round will be arranged like that. So you will be partnered with every person in the group at some point and as i said every round will be arranged like that but the teammates will changed. To move on in the tournament your wins will be added up.
For example, lets say player A wins all but one o his games, player B wins 2 games and player C and D lose all of their games. Player C and D will be dropped from the tournament and players A and B will be put into a new group with other winners and the process repeats.
Having two people from each group eliminated, by the final round there will be only 2 players let. Who will have a 1 Vs 1 battle to see who wins the tournament.
Does this make sense?
There will be a map per round:
Round 1: Feudal War (fog)
Round 2: Egypt: Lower
Round 3: New World (fog)
Final Round: Arms Race! (fog)
In the event of a tie, there are some tie beaker rules.
2. If there is a tie, then the player that controlled the most territory in the game where the TIED PLAYERS WERE PARTNERS wins the tie.
3. If there is a 3 or 4 way tie, then the players will play a sequential, escalating game on the classic map with unlimited fortifications and no fog.
So quick recap of the tournament:
- 16 people: 4 groups of 4 people each.

- Best 2 people move on.

- You have 48 hours to join your games.
- All games are sequential, unlimited.
