WWE Ladder Tournaments
Posted: Mon Jun 09, 2008 7:14 amok guys i am going to start a ladder based wwe tournament. this way it will be easier to have world/wwe/ tag titles etc, after a win and then in later tournies they can be defended and retained or lost lol , think it has great potential , ( i just hope someone doesnt copy and do wwe tournies just to "get in there first" when i make a second one.
it will work as follows ---- if you wish to be in, post here and ill put you down , its open to everyone but specify what category you wish to enter for( or all of em if you like lol)
you can choose a wrestler for yourself , and its first come first served if its not taken or someone drops out i will post on the forum.
im going to start with finding a WWE Champion and WWE Tag team Champions, so one tournament will be based on fighting on your own and obviously the other will be doubles. all groupings will be done randomly.
THE RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS--- you will have to JOIN the ladder at http://www.myleague.com/ccwwe , i know it might seem like a pain but its not it only takes 5 mins just choose free signup then follow the steps and click the activation link in your email and thats it. it is to record where you rank etc , but the tournies will be in conquerclub.8 groups of 8, so i need 62 players to begin. after 2 rounds eliminations will happen based on scoring over the games in total , where you finish. we will then have 40 players for round 2, 5 players from each group will advance and 3 from each group will be out.
then we will have 8 groups of 5, after another 2 rounds of scoring 2 players get eliminated from each group, leaving us with 24 players who will be randomly placed into new groups again , 4 groups of 6 players. then after scoring 4 from each group will be eliminated leaving us down to a final 8 players into 1 group after 2 or 3 games (depending on what you all want) , after scoring we will have ourselves a winner, and scoring resets after rounds progress so they wont be carried over as that could be deemed unfair.
SCORING
1st-- 10points
2nd---- 8 , 3rd--- 6, 4th--- 5, 5th--- 4, 6th--- 3, 7th---- 2, 8th ---- 1,
if you finish 1st in a game in your group you score 10 points if in your second game you come, say 5th you get 4 points, added together makes 14 points altogether when eliminations occur, so it is based like that.
ok hope you enjoy and please feel free to put you name down, (this is a league type thing so tournies will happen again and again so if you miss one you can always get into another)
i will put all those who enter down for wwechampion tournament and WWE Tag Team champion tournaments ( unless you only want one and not the other then please state and i will not put you in both. )
