Conquer Club

This is the tournament based on the popular Mario racing series, Mario Kart. This series has had sucess on every Nintendo system since the NES, as well as 2 arcade editions of the game. One of the game modes is the Grand Prix. This mode is a series of races with 8 racers, with points given out based on position. The player with the most points at the end of the Grand Prix was the crowned the champion.

This tournament will be a bit bigger than 8 racers. The tournament will bring together 32 Mario and other characters who have been in a Mario Kart game or will be in the upcoming game, Mario Kart Wii. Each racer will be placed in one of 4 divisions (making 8 racers per division). Each division will play a set # of 8-player games, and points will be given out based on position as such:

1st place: 10 points
2nd place: 8 points
3rd place: 6 points
4th place: 4 points
5th place: 3 points
6th place: 2 points
7th place: 1 point
8th place 0 points

The top 4 from each division will make it to the next round and put into 2 divisions. The process will be repeated, and the final division will be set. The winner of the final division will be the champion.

Round 1: 4 races
Round 2: 8 races
Round 3: 16 races

Games will be Terminator, Escalating, Unlimited, with NO FoW

Now the maps. I chose them because each round will have some kind of theme. The first round is called battle of supremacy because all 4 maps have to do with some kind of battle. The next rounds will be much more likeable with the maps.
