1 slot is required so all players are welcome. No point, or games played restrictions. All players will be invited to their games, and have 48 hours to join before automatically losing.
Before we get into tourny specifics, some March Madness dates are below:
This will be a 68 team tournament exactly modeled after the bracket. Half the fun of March Madness, is that anyone can win. Given this, tournament will also be 1v1 single elimination.
Note: A 2-0 win means that it was an automatic advancement (due to missed invites, multi etc.). A score of 1-0 means the game was actually played.

What if the players split the games? Is there a third random game as well?

Ok, this is just a point, but it doesn't really effect your tournament. There aren't 2 extra 11 seeds, it's just two extra seeds wherever the committee thinks they belong. It could be two extra 13 seeds or an extra 12 and an extra 14. But, you can't know what they are going to pick ahead of time, so you can do it however you want to.

Apparently, you don't know how trench works. Read the part about trench found here. Trench will work fine on any map.
Special Gameplay: Trench Warfare wrote:With trench warfare you can only assault from regions held continuously since the start of your turn. If you conquer a region (or re-conquer a region) you cannot assault further from that region during the same turn. The one exception being 'killer neutrals' (explained on the Gameplay Notes page) from which you may continue assaulting. The game no longer involves steamrolling across the board. Instead you gradually advance your front!

Fixed, it is a single game on the higher seeds home map.

Im 95% sure the commite picks 2 extra 11 and 16 seeds, and I will follow that format.
