how is the winner decided ?

The winner I determined by assassinating yur target in the first round then the winner goes onto the next round and so on

the initial post says 5 rounds. the 2nd post suggests 2 rounds.

if you start with 40 players grouped into 5 games of 8. the winner of each of those games goes through to the 2nd round. now you have 1 game with 5 players. the winner wins the tournament.

you need to explain in more detail how this tournament will progress from round to round until the finals.

No. 8 players. 1 winner he goes next round with seven players makes 8 and that will happen for 5 rounds

How it will work: you will post down below. I put you in the tourney. The first round starts once 36 people join. The first round starts no other round does only the first 8 players play until that games is over the next seven play plus the winner of the previous round and so on.

i'm not trying to be a pest but this does not qualify as a tournament as the last group of 7 will only have played 1 game and if the winner is someone from the 2nd last group of 7 they will have only played 2 games. there is a 3 game minimum for tournament status.

there are several ways to run an assassin tournament, for example

round 1: you could split the 16 into groups of 8 and whoever is assassinated is eliminated
round 2: same as round 1 except it is two groups of 7
round 3: same as above except two groups of 6
round 4: same as above except two groups of 5
round 5: same as above except two groups of 4
from here you could merge them into one group of 6 and have 1 person eliminated each round until 3 are left. the winner of that game wins the tournament.
