Finish It Quick!
Game Style:
- All games will be the following settings:
- Classic
- Standard
- Automatic
- Escalating
- Chained
- Sunny
How It Works:
- During each game you play, you need to be sure to end it quick!
For this tournament, I will use a point system, but unlike other other point system tournaments, you want the lowest number of points possible. This will be explained next.
- Awarding Points:
- Adhering to the spirit of this tournament, points will be given to LOSING players of a game. The points that a player receives is equivalent to the number of Rounds the game took to end. ZERO points will be awarded to the winner of each game. Thus, to decrease the potential amount of points you may be getting, you really want to "finish it quick".
- Given the nature of this tournament, I am going to remind players of a simple rule of the site:
- No Holding Players Hostage
- You must have at least 1400 points to join (as of signup)
- You must be premium
This is very important to the tournament, and as a buffer to prevent such things from happening:
And due to the various amount of games you will be playing:
If you believe you have been subjected to unfair gameplay throughout the tournament, feel free to PM me with your concerns. If I see that unsportsmanship conduct has ensued, that player will be removed from the tournament.
Game Organization:
- Each player will play each other player once until everyone has played each other, after the points are tallied, the resulting player with the lowest score wins!!
In the event of a tie between two players, the two players will hold a simple best 3/5 to determine the winner. If there are more than 2 players, the same process as the original continues with the tied players to determine the winner.
The number of games you play is determined by the number of people that join. I will put a limit of 50 participants for the tournament, but it can start with any number of players. The tournament will stop taking applicants Oct 1, 2010 and begin. If the cap is reached by a previous date, it will begin immediately.
