MG's "1vs1 to Dubs NFL tournament"2 [Canceled]
Posted: Mon Jul 19, 2010 9:05 pmOk everyone, this is not your normal Dubs tournament. I wanted to do a NFL tournament with a little extra twist to it. Well this is now our second season & I want to make this year even better than the last!
And of course premium prizes are up for grabs. All so you can get that WARM and FUZZY feeling you get from supporting a website that you love!
3 medals will be given in this tournament. 1 to each player on the super bowl winning team & 1 to the player who wins the Season MVP award for winning the most games during the regular season. (Tie breaker games will apply in case of a tie)
SHORT VERSION OF TOURNAMENT LAYOUT You will be playing 1vs1 games in regular season but your games will count with your partners games as a “Team” win, loss or tie for that week. Playoffs will consist of 2 - 1vs1 games and 1 - 2vs2 dubs played at the same time with your partner. SUPER BOWL will be 3 – 2vs2 games with your partner.
This will be a FULL NFL season (17 weeks) with playoffs( 3 weeks), Super Bowl(1 week) and Probowl (1 week). For a total of 22 Weeks starting the Week of Sept 9th.
We will use the 2010 NFL Schedule for entire regular season including bye weeks.
GENERAL TOURNAMENT REQUIRMENTS – MINIMUM POINTS NEEDED TO JOIN (1000 or above) - ATTENDANCE (98% OR ABOVE) - RATINGS (4.5 OR ABOVE)
IF EVERYTHING ABOVE SOUNDS LIKE YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN THEN PLEASE READ “SLOTS NEEDED”, “SIGN UP RULES, REQUIREMENTS, GAME RESTRICTIONS” BELOW BEFORE POSTING!
GENERAL TOURNEY RULES
*I'm your Commish and what I say goes in this tournament. If I feel that something needs changing then I have the right to do if it's fair to everybody and is in the benefit of the tournament.
*Alliances are not allowed.
*Signing up to the tournament counts only when posted to this thread.
*I know that my explaining skills aren't top-notch so if there's something confusing about the tournament then please use this thread so others would also see the answer.
*With any problems and questions, turn to me either by PM or posting to this thread.
*Posting a public thread or filing a report on a matter I have already ruled on in this tournament will only get you kicked out of this tourney & banned from my future tournaments so please think before you cry wolf.

How about Jacksonville Jaguars then.... Though, this might be changed if my partner prefers some other team (hope it's alright).
